Have you taken an hour or so to really just explore the GTAO map? I mean just walking around and keeping an eye for all the details R* has placed. All the little towns, districts, cultural territories are amazing to see in such a large map. There's so much to enjoy just exploring the map. The architecture of all the buildings, the transitions between different environments. Taking a drive from South Los Santos to Paletto Bay you don't feel like one environment just stops at a line and the next one begins, they have created a true geography. Finishing up single player trophies, etc. for ps4. I finished up the main story and in the process naturally completed some of the side mission like stunt jumps, knife flights, etc. just with standard play. So I decide to do all knife flights and under the bridges yesterday and started the bridge locations 1-50 even though I had 10 or 11 already done, they just don't register if you've already done them. I'm stuck on the dreaded 49/50 after doing them all. I can't think of anyway to find the lost one or anyway to efficiently come up with a solution without going through them all and hopefully it randomly pops up. Hi Guys, The PC release date has just been announced as the 28th of March. Are there going to be enough people from the crew interested in extending their play to the PC and if so would the crew forum be extended to cover play on that system? Graphically I'm expecting a massive improvement, the system specs already show that there will be 4K support as well as multi-screen options. PS4 & Xbox One are based on a 32 bit system while the PC version will be using 64 bit so there will be a huge increase in the amount of action possible on screen. What T/DM weapon settings do you prefer and why? I would like to hear people's thoughts on both owned weapons vs forced and pickups. Before this crew, I never played deathmatches. Firstly I wasn't really any good, and also being a low rank I couldn't compete anyway with owned weapons. Even after I leveled up I was happy enough in free roam (don't know how now) so I never got into it. After joining the crew and only playing forced tdms, I have gotten a lot better and really enjoy it. Its no surpirse that the majority of players like to play with owned weapons. I was thinking today it would be nice to not have to worry about cops messing about sometimes in freeroam. I know you can buy some time to turn a blind eye, but I think that having a feature to have closed sessions with wanted levels off would be nice. I know it would take away from the GTA feel, but if R* only offered it for closed sessions I think it would be a nice thing to have available. What do you think?

No Suppressor When Firing Guns From a Vehicle

Anyone know what the deal with this is? All of my guns have suppressors, yet the small arms when fired from a vehicle have no suppressors. Is it possible that I've bought suppressors only for them to be disabled in a vehicle, or is there something that I've missed?

What do people think about jobs that are locked by the host to first person? My own thoughts are that I dislike being forced to play the game in a certain mode. One of the main attractions of GTA to me is its third person view as I find even a short period of playing first person leaves me feeling kind of queezy. Because of this I have kind of stopped doing PS4 playlists as I never know when a first person locked job may pop up. I was wondering if it would be possible to at least put a note on the event topic so it's not a surprise if there is a FPV job there.

So I grabbed it, called the member and they joined my free roam session to collect it. Sounds like craigslist for cars, right? For those of you lucky (unlucky?) enough to have a partner (and family for that matter), how do you go keeping them happy and still getting to play your game so much? For me, it tends to be a rather constant battle on play time vs spending time with her which ocassionly ends in an argument. Am I unkucky or is this a common thing? I have thought it may be cool to have a partner who also games, but this could lead to fights over who gets to play So, a few questions for those that it applies too; How is it having a partner to game with? I know we've got some very creative and imaginative people in this crew and I've had an idea of making a Sin City style graphic novel using the GTA world. I've got the 1st page done and I'm going to be expanding on the story as and when ideas come to my head but if anyone is interested in helping out with the creation of the images let me know and will see what I can do. I'm sure some of you have encountered this bs. I've also noticed it only happens with certain friends. You go to the friend tab and try to invite them to your session and it says "friend invites are disabled till you both have completed the online tutorial" . I'm a level 120 , i vaguely remember doing it till i got to the LTS tute and quit. But since the xmas update this has been stopping me from sending invites to specific friends. Anyone know what's the deal with this? is there a way to start the tutorial back up and finish it? Is it something my low level friend has to do? im sure hes finished it too hes online all the time. Not sure how long this has been here in PS4 (and not sure if it's available on PS3, since I haven't signed in yet), but on PS4 when you press Options >> Stats, there are new stats available. You can see your individual stats for all of your weapons, goals to unlock your awards, and and unlocks will show your progress throughout GTA Online, such as how many races, TDM's, Missions, etc you've played. You guys should check it out if you haven't noticed it yet. My apologies if this has been there for awhile.

Stopped in to los Santos customs down town yesterday to get a little paint on my ratrod. The mechanic did a swell job on the drivers side ! Check it out!! The Super Boost!

I noticed during a race last night how much the super boost actually helps, and it appears that there may be members of the crew that don't know how it's done. I was able to go from 6th to 1st from the launch using the super boost. I think everyone knows how the normal boost works; jam the accelerator when "Go!" pops up. This is definitely superior to a normal start, but there is a better way. If you hold the accelerator to full before the countdown starts, then during the countdown as the "1" begins to fade you quickly release the accelerator only to immediately reapply to full you get a SUPER boost! I don't mean to sound like a wuss but it might be an idea to balance out the teams a bit if they are grossly imbalanced over the course of a playlist. Its pretty tough to stay motivated when we get stomped over and over again. I assume its generally not as bad as it was tonight but over the 2.5 hours in which I was playing I didn't win a match. And during the two playlists I have now played am batting 1/10 for deathmatches. Granted I am new and bad but I dont think I was pulling my team down that much. Just something to think about.

Picture the scene.... Need some food so left my character standing on top of a car outside LSC while I go do my thing in the kitchen. Pop back into the living room to make sure I haven't been kicked from the session and there is a guy in front of me on his chrome Adder making 'suggestive' gestures, doing donuts etc. etc. Thought nothing more of it until I checked my messages later on that evening, saw this and laughed my flippin socks off! 179Rate the Last Film you Watched 2: Electric Boogaloo
Throne of Blood (1957) dir Akira Kurosawa This is Kurosawa's version of Macbeth. It's not like the more usual Shakespearian adaptations that use the original lines, rather it's the same basic story with different lines in a different setting; medieval Japan. It's unmistakeably Macbeth right from the start as the camera pans across a misty, mysterious, highland landscape. Toshirô Mifune stars Washizu (i.e. Macbeth), initially a soldier (I guess you would say Samurai, although I am not totally sure of the correct usage of that) in the army of the local lord (i.e. King Duncan). Washizu and another soldier, Miki (i.e. Macduff), are on the way back from a victorious battle to their lord's castle. They get lost in forest and come across a spirit (equivalent of the witches) who foretells their promotion and that eventually Washizu will be the new lord but it will be Miki's son who succeeds him. They are promoted, Washizu tells his wife (Lady Macbeth, obviously) about the prophecy and it is she who encourages him on the path of deceit, betrayal and murder that will see him full-fill the rest of the prophecy but attempt to change it so that a son of his own succeeds him. One thing I did find slightly odd, and funny, is that whereas in Shakespeare's original (and the historical facts it is based on) Macbeth becomes King of Scotland, here Washizu becomes Lord of Spider's Web Castle. I am assuming that in Japanese “Spider's Web Castle” sounds more impressive than it does in English. It is very well made, of course, and the actors are good, particularly Isuzu Yamada as Lady Washizu. Like Olivier's Shakespeare adaptions it does not seem dated, and I think the Shakespearian style is what helps there. There is some very impressive cinematography, both of the landscapes and some of the castle interior scenes. One that sticks in my mind is when Lady Washizu hatches one of her plans we see her walk into another room, that is pitch black and then emerge shortly after carrying some bottles of drugged saki. The camera stays fixed for all of this, with the doorway to the dark room in the centre so it's almost like she disappears and then reappears, as if using magic. Definitely well worth watching if you are into Shakespeare or Samurai films. 9 / 10- 1

I just finished watching The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix. Highly recommended! It's a horror-drama in 8 episodes, very loosely based on Edgar Allen Poe short stories or poems with each episode named after a different work of his. I have never read any of them and some had not even heard of, but I now at least know the brief synopsis of them from Wikipedia. What the creators have done is woven together a plot primarily based on the short story "The Fall of the House of Usher" that greatly expands on that. The first episode has the same name as the whole series. Roderick Usher, corrupt billionaire head of a major pharmaceutical company, invites an old adversary, lawyer August Dupin, to his family's derelict house, to confess to a host of crimes. Dupin has been trying to prosecute the Ushers for decades but they always got away with it. Now, following the recent deaths of all six of his children, supposedly in freak, horrific, unrelated accidents, Roderick wants to come clean. Most of the story is now told in flash back, both to the early years of Roderick and his sister Maddie (the brains behind their rise to power) and the children's recent deaths. The next 6 episode each focus on the violent deaths of a different son or daughter, each related in some way to the Edgar Allen Poe story that episode is named after. The final episode, The Raven, then brings everything to it's conclusion, revealing the true cause of all that has happened. It's very, very good. It is a bit bloody and gory at times, but never over-the-top, always done for a reason and usually to fit in with the story that death is named after. It features Mark Hamil in the most un-Luke-Skywalker-like role you can imagine. I never really rated him as an actor in Star Wars, but here, as the Usher's ruthless lawyer he is excellent. Another Netflix series I think is worth a mention is Kaos It's a modern day story of Greek Gods and Heroes, in a world where they most definitely exist and are still worshipped by mortals. Jeff Goldblum is Zeus and there's other recognisable faces amongst the rest of the cast, including David Thewlis as one of Zeus' brothers and fellow god Hades and Suzie Izzard as one of the Fates. It loosely follows the story of Orpheus in the Underworld, but this is part of a bigger plot with both gods and mortals having to accept what fate has in store for them, whether they like it or not.- 1
