By Dan Mitre We're always looking for new ways to improve your Battlefield experience. While we're currently hard at work creating Battlefield 1, we still want to improve the experience for past Battlefield games – changes that will help unite Battlefield players regardless of whether they're playing Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, or Battlefield 1 in October. That's why we're happy to introduce something that will provide a more intuitive and centralized experience. The new Battlefield user interface is designed to improve the experience of playing with friends and to bring relevant content to your attention. Now, you're able to create a Squad before you actually enter into a game. Being able to join up with your friends and join into a game together makes it a much smoother experience, and helps make sure you're able to spawn on your buddies as soon as you're in the game. There are other changes as well that you'll want to see for yourself, like a recommendation engine to suggest maps, modes, and more, giving you a more relevant and fine-tuned experience that quickly gets you to the things you want to do. This new UI is currently rolling out in beta form in Battlefield 4 for a small audience, and we’ll have more information on additional testing opportunities in the coming months. This will also be released with Battlefield 1 (and Battlefield Hardline soon after that). Once it's rolled out for all three games, you'll be able to easily swap between the games as long as you own them. Want to jump from St. Quentin Scar in Battlefield 1 to the skyscrapers of Shanghai in Battlefield 4? It'll be easier than ever. Let us know what you think, and stay tuned for more updates as we approach the release of Battlefield 1 on October 21! ScottyB 2,086
Only just saw this. @Braldy mentioned it the other week too about updating the interface. There a lots of little things they can do to make the game flow more seamlessly. The biggest and easiest changes I'd like to see (can't believe they haven't been done already) is to be able to invite people through PSN to a squad from the main menu and for that squad to stay together until someone confirms an option to leave the squad, not disband the squad automatically when you leave a server. It would be cool able to have multiple squads as well for when you have say 8 friends wanting to play and you all join up at the main menu to go into a game. Looking forward to see what they have planned for us though. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/10053-battlefield-update-coming/#findComment-151334 Share on other sites

Sort of, in the way that a lot of people in the crew "play gta" but are never around On the B4 nights, we would regularly get 4-6 people which is pretty good. There are probably 10-15 people who own the game but have been focused on playing other games or couldn't/didn't join the scheduled event. Check out the other threads and I've tagged everyone who I know owns it. If you're considering getting it, at $5 you can't go wrong! the story mode in itself for B4 is great and the multiplayer is even better, far better than CoD IMO but they both have their pros and cons. 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/10053-battlefield-update-coming/#findComment-151347 Share on other sites
