What did you do today?

Recommended Posts

I was working at this guys house yesterday who manages a suspension company and for some reason they take the cars to their house, probably just to joyride the vehicles.

We have just built his massive house and his garage is almost like the gta garages and can easily fit 6 cars, more if you block others in haha.

So he brought home this really cool looking rx7. Didn't get to hear it or see it go but I'd imagine it would have some serious power under it! Absolutely love the body kit too!

They also had an old Ferrari and rocked up in an r8 and a few modified mercs.

I also just got my unrestricted bike license, not that I can afford a bike or would be game enough to handle a 1000cc beast yet haha.

That RX7 is crazy. Love it.

Gave myself a bloody nose while playing Just Dance 2016.

Apparently that can happen without punching yourself in the face.  Guess playing for over an hour non-stop isn't good for old people.

This bloody nose turned into a very long episode of being light-headed, dizzy and nauseous the rest of the afternoon/evening yesterday.  I went to bed early last night thinking I could just sleep it off, but when I woke up, it was just as bad.  So thinking it was something really bad, I went to the ER to get it checked out.  Turns out it was just vertigo.  They did a CT scan and everything... so turns out my head is normal.  Sorry to disappoint some of you.

Now I'll be taking motion sickness medication before playing video games, because apparently, Just Dance 2016 is just too damn trippy for someone my age.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Have been visiting a close friend from high school once a week for the past month.... I went to her funeral today. Liver failure due to years of drinking. She was 38 years old.

Sorry to hear that Wraign,

Someone accidentally dropped a dumbbell on my foot today when I was doing bench press at the gym so I'm currently icing it and keeping it elevated.

That someone was my girlfriend. :/

Accident huh?

So sorry for your loss, wraingbow. My favorite uncle left us at an early age due to drinking. It sucks.

That's very tragic. Sorry for your loss Kristen.

Sorry to hear that wraignbow. My father is 30 years sober and I have stopped drinking a few years ago because alcoholism runs in the family and its like a switch. Wish my oldest sister didn't drink so much.

In retrospect my day wasn't so bad. Guy came in to work and asked for an oil change special. Proceeded to ask what the difference was between the three types (Conventional, Semi-Synthetic and Full Synthetic), so I broke them all down for him. He then proceeds to argue with me that there is no difference between them all.

Did I mention I live in a small, poor, stupid, not the sharpest tool in the shed type of east bumfuck in the sticks county in Florida? Did I squeeze enough in there? LOL.

I do what I can to educate those not in the know about general basic maintenance stuff on their cars, But you just can't fix stupid.

What does it for me is the appreciation of the people who actually do learn something from me that they didn't know. That is what makes my day worthwhile.

Now I'm just relaxing at home waiting for the car to cool down so I can swap my coolant level sensor O-ring because its leaking. Luckily it snaps in on the aluminum end tank of the radiator; so it's as easy as popping it out, plugging the hole and swapping the O-ring then popping it back into place.

And I'm downloading Loadout; looks to be pretty fun so I can't wait to play it!
