I had heaps of deliveries this morning. Weekend consisted of an *ss load of yard work and get my face kicked in by @VALL_es and @Shelby GR in the crew battle we had.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Sorry I haven't been around much. We've had some good weather some I been killin the spring yard work. Plus it's Mothers Day week and being a florist means its been busy at the shop as well. My free time has been spent on the PS4 rather than computer

Well, after the crazy rains this week and especially yesterday, I had MASSIVE holes/trenches is several places. I've never seen crazy crap like this! The only thing I can figure the cause is damn gopher/mole tunnels in the damn sandy soil. This sandy soil is VERY fine.......almost talcum powder fine. I've had what I've called sand blowouts after heavy rains. The will be a smoothed out area of sand where there was green grass the day before.

After the soil was already fully saturated, I got over 5 inches of rain in about 3hours time.  I had massive amounts of water flowing across my front and back yards. The flowing water must have started flowing thru the damned gopher tunnels and started eating them away after blowing out on one end.

I spent several hours digging up the sand the got deposited on the driveway between my shop and house. I barely made a dent on it. My back was killing me before I started, but like the stubborn ass that I am, I pushed thru the pain. It's not gonna be a good report when I go for my doc appt. in the morning. ..............IF I am able to get out of bed/

Sometimes I'm too stubborn for my own good.

I only grow in living soil!
Because Fat Buds Matter!

Finished work nice and early, went to the pub with the dog for a few beers with my mates.

Wife's gone out, so I'm now chilling at home with some tunes blasting out, taking some well earned me time and chiloling the f*ck out!!

I asked this lady if she needed help, did her car broke down, did she run out of gas, was she in need of a doctor, a sudden condition, did I not see the obvious, was is opposite day, was the road ahead not clear, did social media get the best of her, was she not able to comprehend her surroundings, drunk, drugs or just not able to understand she had the right of way? All this with a single honk. It helped her. A proud moment of my day.

Yesterday, my dealership held our annual M Madness car show. We had local M cars, M cars from the BMWCCA Illini, and St. Louis chapter's. Was a good event.

That Warsteiner E30 is nearly perfect. Worth about $100k.

This afternoon I am knocking off work a couple hours early to take my beautiful new wife to San Francisco for the weekend to celebrate her 34th birthday.  We have a bay view hotel room reserved at the Marriot.  We will be eating out and drinking adult beverages and taking a tour of Alcatraz Island and visiting the California academy of sciences.

On the drive down (about a 3 hour drive for us) she will be listening to the OMG podcast I appeared on with @Hatch and @Dodge.  So if I suddenly leave the crew over the weekend you know why!

The other day I went to get my S10 out of the garage and noticed a pool of antifreeze under it. Discovered a bolt in the alternator bracket had sheered off in the head dropping the bracket a hair and it cut the radiator hose. Had to take the radiator out to extract the broken bolt from the head. And since I have the rad out I am in process of rebuilding the steering gearbox since it is easy to get to now. Gotta get it all done by Friday cuz it is scheduled to attend one of the biggest cars shows in the area.

Been actually doing some manual labour as I slowly get the farm to the point that I have all of the car parts sorted and I can turn the area I had earmarked for use as a workshop about 3 years ago into an actual workshop and get the compressor and lathes etc. asll set up. I currently feel stiff (and not in a fun way), sore and old.

On the plus side I found my bench grinder, it was in the most obvious place you would expect, on top of an up turned stack and store box with a Mk1 Escort rear wheel arch balanced on top of it, which in turn was underneath several precariously balanced boxes of old Ford parts and a 911 Rear Quarter Panel.

I sorted out one of the photocopiers that was misbehaving at work...

It then spewed out many printed emails between the Union Rep’ and the Head that have given me an afternoon of entertainment reading them.

Now I’m done with them, time for the shredder.

Can you smell what the Stone is cooking?

Lat couple weeks have been a real b*tch around here. Our well quit, $1200 later we have water again (had to replace the pump). Dryer quit, changed the heating element and limit breaker to have it quit again, turned out to be due to plugged vent. And it finally quit raining enough that I was able to get all our ditches and valleys mowed for the 1st time this year, if I had a baler I would have several bales.

On the plus side, my S10 got best in class award a couple days ago at a car show.

Actually done something worthwhile today...climbed Skiddaw, a mountain in Cumbria. All walking, no scrambling or climbing but still glad I made it to the peak. Tried a few years ago but poor weather meant it was too risky taking young Bing to the summit, glorious sunshine today though.

I randomly walked in a residential neighborhood I never been in for 45 minutes. I rarely do things with no clear purpose all alone like that, but I like it, no matter if its in a rather mediocre area like this or if its in a big city. A big city is even better. There is something very nice having a feeling your absolutely annonymous and free to do whatever.
