pete_95973 4,386
This guy is right more often than not. Interesting article. If it is true I don't really mind. Sure I wish the Casino opened. Sure I wish there was a map expansion. But I feel like they have done a lot in three years and focusing on RDR2 and GTA6 makes sense to me. And as long as the servers are left on (which they will) we still have a fun world to play in. Especially with good crew and friends. http://yan2295.com/gta-online-updates-slow-down.php 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/11609-gta-online-updates-ending-soon/ Share on other sites
Sinister 2,583
Wouldn't surprise me and it will eventually happen anyways. They said they were going to "rest" the franchise at some point in the future. All but guaranteed their focus will shift away from GTAO once RDR2 comes out. Give people a couple of years to "forget" about it and start back up once GTA6 comes out. 3 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/11609-gta-online-updates-ending-soon/#findComment-162762 Share on other sites
PapOiteE 465
Too bad this beautiful game never had singleplayer dlc... 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/11609-gta-online-updates-ending-soon/#findComment-162766 Share on other sites
kernalhogan 669
I read something similar back before the Cunning Stunts update came out and we still got Biker and I&E updates after that. That said, it does make sense that they would slow down DLC's with other titles on the horizon. 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/11609-gta-online-updates-ending-soon/#findComment-162768 Share on other sites
Banketelli 3,655
I'm fine with it. When Red Dead comes out, GTAO will be 4 years old and it's time to move on. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/11609-gta-online-updates-ending-soon/#findComment-162782 Share on other sites
Smurf 948
R* saved us a pile of cash in the sense that we most likely wont feel the urge to go out there and purchase a lackluster game compared to our GTAO experience that covers a lot. Con 5,719
I can't imagine how much money GTAV saved me. I mean, I didn't buy the Madden this past year. The games I wanted when GTAV was slow, I never got. I bought an XBox One and the only game I considered getting was another copy of GTAV for it. I dont look forward to GTAV slowing down. It has been such an escape. 3 Quote RSC FILM CLUB Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/11609-gta-online-updates-ending-soon/#findComment-162808 Share on other sites
