Thanks for joining everyone. I'm no Squirrel but I hope I was a decent host tonight :D

Results above are provisionnal, pending review by the stewarts and Squirrel's final say.

As always, please post videos of your race as soon as possible so it can be reviewed by the stewarts.

If you have any suspisions of cheating, curb boosting or any infraction, please don't mention it in this thread and send a PM to Squirrel instead.

From my POV, it was a very clean race all around. Except for the contact at the first turn of course but it looked pretty smooth after that. I didn't hear people complaining throughout so it must have been OK. Although someone mentionned that he was on his roof at some point :D:D

Have a good night guys, and see you all in 2 weeks !

Cheers @Fido_le_muet for hosting.

Not the best race ever, bit of a first corner clusterfuck which lost me a few places. After that I had brief battle with @Realjaysee but I messed up a corner which allowed him to get away...

So settled into my default postion of 5th for the rest of the race not really pushing too hard as I had a gap on the guys behind.

Was hoping JC would do his usual last lap bin it job but that wasn't to be lol

My race, it only recorded 25mins so it misses the first dew laps. Starts with me in 7th and finishes with me in 7th. Apologies for it missing the incidents on the first lap, I got through it pretty cleanly.

Great result for Xero Gas :)

Can you smell what the Stone is cooking?

Had a solid qualifying lap which put me 3rd on the grid, but by the end of the 1st lap I was all the way down in 12th place.  Not sure if there was some careless driving or whether it was all down to lag, but I seemed suffer a similar fate to @Fido_le_muet in Montreal.  What can you do?

So it was basically a frustrating start followed by a mostly boring race on my own after that.  A race to forget, but still somewhat enjoyable I guess.

Here are the 1st and 2nd laps, a sped up series of laps where nothing much happened, then a battle and incident with @Clydicality.  Then the final lap where I was hoping to claw back a position or two but ran out of laps.  Only clipped a few curbs here and there when trying to leave room or if I ran wide or turned in a fraction early for an apex.  Towards the end of the video you can see I accidentally cut the curb at turn 1 while chasing Clyd, but said "Oops.  Sorry." and backed off to give back any advantage I may have got.  It's hard to see the apex through the shrubbery sometimes.

I've still got the saved footage of the missing laps, but I was basically on my own that whole time so didn't see the need to upload a video of them.  They're available if anyone needs to see them.

Cheers for hosting, Fido.  You did a great job.  So much more efficient than that other clown. :D

My qualifying - both laps - (first flying lap was my best) -

my race, full video -

my race wasn't very interesting, my video shows decent views of the first lap carnage. Had a good battle with @Clydicality, hard but fair defensive driving from myself, refusing to let him up my inside (your bloody horn was incredibly annoying but I'm sorry for snapping at you about it I know you didn't mean it, that was wrong of me dude :( ) and also to @djw180 I didnt want to lap you in the way I did but the aforementioned man had used the kerb (within the rules, not a complaint) to get the run on me up the start finish straight and I wasn't letting him get me like that, so I didn't have much time to get by you (you know I try to do it in the proper manner) just glad I didn't actually hit you.

There is also something I saw in my video which I have reported to the stewards but will refrain from discussing here. I made my feelings known loud and clear during the race anyways.

Also I wanna apologise to everyone for my moaning throughout the event, not a fan of the track or car one bit. Played a lot of GTA in the last week and perhaps feeling a little burnt out, need to try and remember not to do that to everyone ( I almost certainly will but I honestly am sorry)

My video of the race apologies to @no_snacks got a lovely run past a few cars and didn't slow down enough and on my video it doesn't seen as harsh as on your video but I am very sorry seemed like you got hit on every other corner on the first lap

No problem, mate.  It's all good. :)

I had to brake a touch earlier than normal as I was off the natural racing line and on Fido's inside, so didn't want to career into him.  Your contact wasn't the main problem.  I nearly corrected myself and was only going to lose maybe a second or two.  It was the 2nd, 3rd and 4th impacts that finished me off.

Cheers for waiting though.  Looks like you lost a lot of time and positions too. :(

@no_snacks Ye  I lost quite a few positions but was more bothered about hitting you I am happy to stay at the back out the way causing no issues I made up a few positions and got a bit too excited I think   I did apologise when it happened but chat was too loud

Here is the race from my point of view. (Albeit quite boring)

Around 0:24 is the first big accident at turn 1. Managed to sneak in front of it to avoid the chaos.

Lost focus at 8:15 when I went off the track for a bit. 10:00 - Big thanks to @JuniorChubb for letting me pass to try and catch @Mythaga but it wasn't to be! Good race from all, thanks to @Fido_le_muet for hosting.

My POV :

I got through the 1st turn chaos OK and then I was mostly on my own, just in front of JC.

I tried to keep him behind me but lost focus a couple times and he caught up with me pretty quickly, overtaking me a few times. I managed to get my 3rd spot back just before the final lap.

@Realjaysee : I hope that final pass was clean. It was on my screen, but you never know with lag. Was a good battle, very enjoyable.

Didn't notice anything worth reporting. Seemed pretty clean overall.

Cheers guys. Looks like you all had fun. Sorry I couldn't be there but the last 13/14 hours sleep were amazing.

Big thanks to @Fido_le_muet for stepping in and hosting. Did a great job.

I'll go through the messages I've been sent and get working on the finalised results shortly.

I have no issue with Retired Mafia wanting to join, he's raced with many of us before and very well known to drivers both in and out of the crew. A straight swap for Lime also works for Xero Gas.

@starmonkeykiller.  Just watched DJ's video.   At 1:52 I hit the side of your car and pushed you off track.  On my video at 1:42 I missed you by a mile.

Sorry if it caused you to lose any time or positions.  Would've eased up and let you past if I'd known.

Also I might have done the same thing to you too @Mawfster on the opening lap in the stadium section.  Was only minor contact according to DJ's video and no contact from my POV.  Once again, sorry if it caused any issues for you.

It didn't feel like a particularly laggy race from my POV, but you never quite know what other people are seeing. :D

My quali was horrible, should have been able to start in the top 6, but had to do it with P11

Here's my video :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdn6kR5sb2M&t=7s

started recording a bit too late, totally forgot to do it before the start :P

Highlights :
1st lap : Never had so much luck, everyone crashed in front of me (thx guys :p), so my bad qualify didn't matter anymore. Went from P11 to P3.

3:12 : Made a mistake, which allowed @Fido_le_muet to get closer. Nice move from him on the inside 2 corners later. Back to P4. Fido driving slowly away from me, Myth in my rearview mirror.

8:00 : Fido struggeling a few corners, manage to get in front of him, but he overtakes me on the straight again. Little battle with Fido for P3 that turns to a battle with @Mythaga for P4.

12:37 : Accidentally did a nasty curb boost on the straight, immediatly released the throttle and it was right before the braking point, so don't think I gained any advantage.

After that, I found a good pace, each lap I managed to get closer to Fido and get away from Myth.

23:42 : Mistake by Fido, all I need to do is keeping the pace and drink champagne on the podium!

23:47 : Not keeping the pace and allow Fido to stay right behind me for the next few laps....

28.52 : Last corner of the second to last lap. Time to give my position away!

Fido : Nothing wrong with that, could have kept my position if I defended on the inside, but decided to give you (more than) enough room. Didn't wanted to take any risk on the last lap because of my fuck-up-on-last-lap syndrome (Sorry myth, next time I'll make sure you get my position in the last lap :P

Here's my view of the race: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYWZkg5XcrU

0:19 Firstly, apologies to @no_snacks for completely taking you out at the first turn (I was a bit late on my braking point) and secondly apologies to the rest of the grid as I think was the main cause of the first turn incident as I instinctively stopped on the hairpin to let @no_snacks in front of me but this caused anyone behind me to hit me (in hindsight I should of got round the corner and then let @no_snacks past). I went from 4th to 6th.

0:58 I hit @no_snacks again as he was trying to get away from an incident with @Protocawl and @joper881583070460. I went 6th to 13th.

1:11 I hit @no_snacks a third time, trying to avoid all the carnage going into the stadium area, going from 13th to 9th.

Laps 2-6 battle with @Crawford1872

7:24 Battle with @no_snacks for 9th place. At 5:37 on @no_snacks video it shows me taking him out again, but from my view at 7:32 it looks as if @no_snacks just spun out by himself.

Laps 7- 22 Chasing down and trying to overtake @Crawford1872 again.

27:02 Good exit on final turn, two wheels touching the kerb and then finally overtaking @Crawford1872 on the straight to the first turn.

29:26 Messed up the final turn undoing all my good work and letting @Crawford1872 get back in front of me with one lap left. Battle continued on the last lap with @Crawford1872 getting the better of me.

Again, I must apologise to @no_snacks as I ruined you at the first turn and then hit you a couple more times on the first  lap :(

@Crawford1872, If I could change which button sounds the horn I would have done it years ago. I annoy myself by my incessant beeping of the horn as I go round corners. Great defensive driving though, it shows I really need to work on my overtaking techniques.

Yeah sorry again, was a good battle though and tbh that was part of my problem with the track, so incredibly dull that I was able to defend the whole race quite easily, normally not able to do that in GTAO races.

The part where i shot my car, didnt recorded as i started my rec from sticky bombs to race's end. wanna point to some people that i shot to solve the  "repair damage" bug. means, sometimes if you damage normally your car, you cannot fix it after. my intention was to solve that bug in case of hard incident

Okay dude thanks, hope you realise it's only because there has been rules and boundaries pushed before by yourself that you are now under more scrutiny than most.
