IMO The collision detection in GTA can really suffer when you have a lot of players in a race, especially if there is a lagger or two, this really needs to be considered when chasing/tailgating another driver.

my 'push' was on 14/15sec in your vid, pretty sure it didn't cause u to lose positions..

yeah, the lagg is really an issue, im paying E74,- (euro) every month to have good internet, but there's always someone bringing their ps4 to mcdonalds it seems.lol.

its kind of impossible to take lagg into consideration when racing,unless driving really, really slowly. when i lived in Laos, and played with ppl from europe or america they where half the time teleporting through my screen, and i did same in some of theirs..

most ideal is to have only ppl from 1country in the lobby, but even then there will be lagg every now and then. #cursetheinternetproviders

A bit late but great round again people!

Really enjoyed the track and I was very pleased with my qualifying. I was a bit disappointed when I couldn't consolidate the 6th place, I made one crucial mistake in the chase after @starmonkeykiller and I hit that dang telephone pole in the second last corner. I didn't ran into any incidents there was one little bump from teammate @Protocawl that got me off but it was just a racing situation and @Protocawlwaited also so really no issues over this.

All in all just great racing and good to see the Vansters preforming well!

I feel so stupid and have to apologise again for the video, I screwed it up again. I pressed the Share button twice instead of only once followed by the square button  Luckily I have nothing report in the case of the stewards and I think no one has something to report on me but for the integrality it was nice to post the video, but yeah next time I will be very careful and precise in saving the clip! ?

Congrats to the @BRacer and the lonely @Potato for taking the second spot again and to our Vanster @Mythaga for entering the podium in third!

Can't wait for the next race, really loved your creation op Spa @Squirrel but if it's gonna be the other one so be it. It's gonna be fun anyway! ?

Sorry @MAHALOKA I didn't lose the spots as you nudged me, I lost them due to me being too cautious entering the first 3 corners (see my earlier post).

39:47 to 40:50 video time. During the race I was too concentrated on passing you cleanly, @Paulie, to understand what actually happened, but once I saw the replay, I wasn't very happy about what I saw clearly now. Being my teammate, you almost pushed me off the track while I was making a clean pass on your inside and when our cars had the slightest of contact and your car spun off, you blamed me, saying something along the lines of: "come on, to your teammate?.." We were heading to a right-hander and came from a right-hander, with me being inside, next to the edge of the track on the right, whereas the natural racing line on that straight would be on the left side anyway or middle of track at least (if you're not overtaking anyone on the inside), especially if someone is right next to you on your right and even more so if that someone is your teammate and already passing you. You left me barely a car's width and my options were either drive ridiculously straight (which is not that easy under pressure with a controller),  gift the position back and lose more time behind you, even though I was faster, while Maha pulls further away OR go over the kerb, get a boost and drive past only to get a penalty (most likely) later. So after you spun, I wasn't sure and figured it was actually my fault, so felt bad and slowed down to let you pass eventually on the start-finish straight. I lost my concentration & 2-3 positions along with the chance to chase down 5th/6th place, since for several laps prior to the incident and right after I was right behind Maha, who was at 6th now. Yes, I guess I should've done like several racers have blatantly done in some past races and go onto the kerbs and pass, since no-one has got a penalty for the same move before, but I wasn't going to knowingly boost my way past you, especially since I didn't notice that I had every right to do so, with you pushing me almost off the track on a straight.

Nah, just kidding. In my opinion it's Paulie's fault, he had to give you more space. Too bad that you waited for him, you could have gotten a nice finishing position. At the other side, we don't have Paulie's POV so it's difficult to make a decision here.

Just a few comments on the changes for the next few races.

Spa will be the longer of the two tracks we tested. Although it seemed that my version was more enjoyable for most than the longer version, accidents are far more likely to happen and it's not really what we want in this series. Track link here for those wanting to practice. http://rsg.ms/8db8c31

There were a few comments about the original Monza chosen and I agreed with you about the length of the track but the alternative we had was too short and accidents were also likely to happen and I wasn't comfortable having 20 cars racing around there safely. Luckily for us, @JuniorChubb has stepped in and made a version of Monza perfectly sized for use in Supercup. The track is a lot more open without the ridiculously long straights of the full size version. The track is still in the testing stage and may have a few tweaks between now and Spa but is otherwise race ready. http://rsg.ms/12f0d89

The next track in the series was due to be Norisring, this was originally added before many of the new tracks were made as there wasn't that many real life tracks to choose from. The lap distance however was way too short, at just over a mile it would be fairly chaotic for all 37 laps of the race. The track is well made but clean racing is a higher priority plus we also had a German track covered.

Norisring will be getting replaced by Sepang, although not a real life Supercup track, the final F1 race on that circuit will be taking place on the 1st of October, I feel like it will be a fitting send off if we race on that amazing track. I'll also be using the same circuit for the Super GT series as well. http://rsg.ms/0263170

To get the Supercup events to coincide with the real life F1 series I've also shuffled the order around of the events.

Following Monza the next race may be Albert Park, I know @no_snacks talked about making an improved version, if that happens in the next few weeks then great but I have no issue with using the current version. There's also an outside chance this may get replaced by Singapore if a suitable track exists. Chubb was asking if there could be a possibility of a night race, I also think a street race could be good for the series to break things up. I know this is a late change so not expecting anyone to make a new track at this stage so would only switch to Singapore if a decent version already exists.

This will be followed by Sepang and Suzuka before finishing the season off at Mexico

I am very sorry @Protocawl, I was very shocked seeing the moment in your POV and you are totally right man. I feel really bad and you deserved my place no doubt so I complety agree with a penalty. I swear on my screen it didn't go the same with the actual hit itself but giving you no space on that part can be a mistake of mine because I was also very concentrated on getting the right lines. Very stupid of me not to have the vid when we need it but I will say in all honestly I really didn't want to hit you @Protocawland I am very sorry for making it look like it's was your mistake. 

And I really don't want to cast aspergions in the great Team Tenshun, I am very proud to be part of this team and I hope we all can shine at Spa!

Don't worry, I never asked for a penalty or even a review from the stewards, I wanted to clear this out amongst ourselves. If you can learn from the mistake, we can move on.

Although it didn't seem like a significant impact from Mahalokas view it clearly took Trashbags off, Mahaloka looked behind to see if there was contact and should have really given the place back after noticing Trashbags off track. Stewards have decided a 5 second penalty is fair in these circumstances. 

The only other major incident was between @Paulie and @Protocawl, the stewards have decided that's an internal team matter and the Tenshun team boss needs a strong word with the pair.

fair enough, i immediately messaged @Trashbags1583070460when i looked back the vid to ask what happened and apologized.

i do still believe it happened because of lagg, which is a shame. maybe it would help if ppl dont live-stream the event, and instead post the video's after it finishes.

since its well known to cause reasonable amounts of lagg. adam (Bruffy) is called 'laggy' for good reasons after all.

@MAHALOKA Yes it was a lag hit, but had it not registered as a hit on trashbags' screen, you would've just rear ended him anyway and it would've been an actual hit since he magically boosted away from you under braking.

Streaming doesn't make a difference if you have Internet good enough for it.

@Squirrelim not trying to dispute it in any way m8, accepting the ruling completely. i would feel hard done by if i were @Trashbags1583070460 also..

but if there werent lagg, it would problaly be avoided by me then, im pretty good at that..

and 100% sure the streaming does make quitte the difference. im paying E74,- monthly for 300up- and 300-download speed and even with my internet i can notice it when the wife is also online, its the reason why i dont stream. it sadly the capitalist corporations who get the best connections at the cost of the individual

u can check out the vid's from ppl who raced with bruffy, its a real issue..
