I had a video pop up on my YT suggestion page last night, so I have already seen it. :D (btw what takes longer, making the track or uploading a video of it to YT? )

Great use of the airport buildings, they really do make the track look alive. Along with other props around the track, this one doesn't look lifeless like so many other track recreations out there.

I'm not the one to comment if it's a good recreation, as I don't really know any IRL tracks layouts by heart, but it's definitely extremely well made, hopefully it drives well too.

Any props left? If by any chance you do, have you thought about some slow down strips off the track around the CPs 15-17?

Cheers, @Fido_le_muet.  I just hope it drives well too. :)

@zmurko, having the track run past the buildings was always my aim, that's why the track is a little skewd in a couple places.  It definitely adds to the atmosphere, and saves a tonne of props as well.

I don't have any props left, but I did have some apex props on those corners you mentioned which I took out and used for the podium.  I can easily put them back or turn them into slow down strips if needed.  The props I originally had there actually made those corners feel more awkward than I would'ved liked, that's why I took them out.  The podium was just me having a little play with some spare props - it doesn't need to be there, although you and I will need somewhere to stand when we finish 1st and 2nd in the race.

The track itself is quite easy to alter if certain corners don't feel right, so any feedback on the track will be much appreciated.  After testing with the Customised Retro Comet I did notice a couple of potential trouble spots that were not problems in the stock Retro Comet, so I'll probably have to change a couple things for the final version.  Any other changes can easily be done at the same time.

Looks damn good. You can tell where you are on the circuit even though you can see where you've made changes to suit the scenery. I like how you've kept it open in Maggots and Becketts, thats where I usually go off while racing on this track. Will be giving it a test soon to see how it drives.

Looks really good Snacks.

I have just finished a version of Silverstone myself and it looks like this trumps it in a few different areas. Great choice of location, you have saved yourself so many props using the LSIA buildings for ready made scenery.

@no_snacks I've just been doing some practice laps and I've just noticed there's no starting grid. Could you please add one before the race tomorrow?

All done, mate.

Some of my starting grids are slightly offset so you can trigger the start/finish checkpoint from the pit-lane, .  Because of that, the grid markings don't actually line up with the cars when you start a race, but for the manual grid positions we use for the Supercup it will work out fine. :)
