VANS Official 156 Posted February 13, 2019 Share Posted February 13, 2019 (edited) The Van Society was founded on May 9 2014 and started off as a small crew of PS3 GTAO players by Retired-Mafia. We are now a well established crew focused on the PS4 for mature gamers who like to approach GTAO from a different angle to most too get the most of the game. Since the beginning of this crew we've been hosting events every week. At this later stage in the games life we are no longer grinding everyday or tearing around in free-roam but still put on an event at least one event every week which is when we all meet up to game together. Our events are usually car based and include Street Racing, Track Racing, Off Road Racing, Rallying and our Top Gear Challenges including Class War, Reasonably Priced Car, Mystery Car, Racenight. Another busy month for VANS, nice to have Mulder and Bkmoto along for a few events and we officially welcomed Hurst to the crew. We also saw the return of Race Club and the GTAV Time Trials hosted by DoubleG. The first round on the 2019 Time Trials in the Dukes on American Grand Park. Regular event winners: Aslad's Off road Adventure: winner DoubleG in the Gauntlet National No Lamposts Vacation: winner DoubleG Stock Car Auto Racing: overall winner Bkmoto, Tampa Cup winner Bkmoto, Hotring cup winner Verstappen Xero 3000 Rally: winner Verstappen driving the Tropos Rallye Race Club: The Dukes of Blaine County winner TBC VANS v FEAR GT Sport Race night Pt2 We also had a rematch against the Devils Unleashed on GTS. A really close night of racing saw the Devils get the win and revenge for their defeat last time around. The Van Society 161 VS 168 The Devils Unleashed Sunday Racing League Season 1 We also had 5 Vansters racing in the Sunday Racing League. We are awaiting the results of Season 1, the top Van Society driver before the final round was SkyeDave.
