I want to check interest in an event where you get an area assigned to create a TDM.  Once we all are done (  maybe 2 weeks) we host all the creations in a playlist. You get to pick any forced weapon (and pickups), but rather not use owned. Build to hold 16+ players. For you that has taken part in previous "Tour of Los Santos"  the setup is the same.

Any creators (new, old, crew or non-crew) interested? 

Preliminary date for playlist: July 5th around 20:00 UTC 

There are 16 areas spread out over the island, some more challenging than others.

The map will be presented once everyone has picked a number (1-16), hopefully Wednesday the 21st as it would give us two weeks before we hold the event.

Could you guys please post the player limits of your jobs, so we can set the Rsvp limit accordingly.

Depends what you want from the DM I guess...

Not 100% sure how randomising works but I would guess if you want control over where people spawn you need to place the spawn spots yourself exactly where you want them. If you are building a map and the framework is made up with props again I think placing them yourself will give you better results.

I used the randomise option once when I was very new to the creator, but not since. I prefer having control over where everything's going and don't want to be deleting randomly placed items that don't fit, especially since some things (including spawn points) can be a headache to select/delete sometimes.

Thanks for the replies. The randomizer gives you a diameter you can choose from and within that, the spawn points and weapons are spread. I tried the largest diameter and noticed that spawns were still too close in many places and could see it becoming  spawn kill trash. I didn't have an issue with the random weapon spawns but it's too much of a variety. 

The randomizer is really good if you want to jump ahead and run around the map with enemies to test the props or paths before you meticulously manually place your custom spawns down. You can delete anything the randomizer sets at any time during the creation.

Not sure if the area is big enough for 20 players, though we normally don't have that many players anyways. I debated using/adding a shotgun but have left it as a pistol only match for now. Might make a few changes after it's tested with a large crowd.

Finally finished mine, after everything in RL this week, that's an accomplishment.

It should be fun. Set for 20 players, but could hold 30.

 

Needs testing, but with bare minimum of 10 players to get any worthwhile info.

I have DM'ed at that location many times, but never with shotguns, so it added a new dimension for me to have to work on getting closer to the enemy than usual. I like the props and thank you for making each a little different. I think it will encourage good team work. I hope it lightning storms when we officially play it.

I will be working on my official title and description and officially putting down spawn points and weapons later tonight. Currently working on my description and work keeps getting in the way.
