Anyone ever lose a car?

I hopped in my Gaunlet earlier today to help others here try to get one. In the process I found one I needed and made the switch like I've done many times before. Took it right away to Customs for tracker and insurance. I then let the crew member take my car to see if she can get the same to spawn for her driving around in it. I go play with you guys for a bit and come back to my garage and where my Gaunlet was is now the car I picked up with the crew member. No Mors Mutual or anything. I'm guessing gone for good?

 

I revamped my garage and even with all the car transfers, purchases, and snags like i did out of the Gauntlet never had one disappear.

 

Found a new one, but don't really want to drop the money into another one if I don't have to and it's something Rockstar can magically make reappear.

As soon as you bought the tracker, you should have been asked 'what car would you like to replace' as it becomes a personal vehicle.

 

Did you have any cars destroyed at the time of visiting LSC?

I've lost a Phoenix once. Not sure if I forgot to insure it and just happened to never blow it up for several weeks, or if, since it was stolen from a mission, it got uninsured when R* removed the ability to steal cars from missions.

I lost an entire garage full of bikes (10 bikes) in the early days of GTAO when things were real glitchy and guess work if you would have money, cars, or a character when you turned it on. Haven't had any issues since though.

Never got that pop up and I had sold a couple cars and had empty slots in the garage.

 

I don't think I had any autos destroyed. I jumped out of the Gauntlet, grabbed the Schafter, and went to LSC. Fixed up the Schafter and let a crew member take it because she wasn't sure what it looked like and maybe her driving one would help spawn one. Joined the playlist and after it ended I was spawned tom my apartment and went to the garage to see the Schafter sitting in the Gauntlets spot.

 

The only thing I can think is jumping out of the Gauntlet and into the Schafter then making it a personal vehicle to where it deactivates the Gauntlet, but I did the same thing with an Exemplar and Blista and both ended up in the garage just fine.

I remember a few days ago I spawned in an empty garage but shortly after they reappeared, was about to go bat crap nuts, and today leaving a season I saw some chick in a cowboy hat standing in my garage.
