This is parked behind the office at work. Not really what I would class as a 'good' car but certainly interesting for this neck of the woods. Made even more interesting by the Bahrain plates...

Is there a fat kid hiding in the back?

I love those Beetles, one of my favourite cars.

Will definitely own one at some point in my life, but would rather something closer to original.

Dunno about Wales, but in my part of the USA it's best to buy on already fixed up cuz the old ones needing fixed are so rusted out there isn't anything left. I got 2 uncles that were head VW mechanics back in the day and they specialized in Beetles, they have a  "few" that are stock, modded a bit and really modded.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Any of them for sale?! :D

Dunno, but I bet the shipping of one to the UK would be a bit pricey

Not as pricey as you would think. There's lots of VWs and American metal being exported. If you spoke to the right people you could share a shipping container with other cars and car parts to reduce the costs as much as possible.

Saw this last week. Jaguar XK140. The pilot was driving it as it should be driven too - he definitely had it at full stride as he went past!

It's been a while, but I stumbled across another abandoned car in a field.

Anyone wish to hazard a guess? (I know what it is) It's a British marque, but was available in Aus and some made it to the US.

This has appeared on eBay today, so someone has tracked the owner down and pulled it out the field.

It looks beyond economical repair to me, but could be a useful parts car.

But above all else, an ultra rare Aston Martin DBR1 !!!!

Chassis 2 of 5. It's not 100% genuine but it's the real chassis that's been extended for road homologation and fitted with another engine. Still an incredible sight !

Spotted this at the Avon, New York flea market, very cliche.

This was what I mentioned before the start of the Montreal race in the Pfister Super Cup.

What is the European equivalent of the "Middle-age Crisis Corvette?"

Uhmm, a big road motorcycle (first motorcycle owned after owning a little moped/scooter at ages 14-20 perhaps) and forcing your terrified wife to ride with you in the back would be a popular midlife crisis example.

Cars arent really that affordable in Europe, so unless you're loaded, you can't really afford a midlife crisis car. You can see some too-old-for-this-car folks driving convertible sports cars like a Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche,... I guess that would be one of the examples too.
