I thought of doing the honourable thing like I do in story mode but there don't seem to be any benefits of doing it. I think it probably slows my progression down but a big margin as I'm never robbing NPCs or getting into fights with the law.

What's people's approach to the honour system in online?

I’ve been at min and max honor so far in online and haven’t noticed much of a difference.

I think there is a mission or two only available to each? Also I’ve heard about price discounts for max honor? But I’m not sure. Maybe someone can confirm.

My honour is usually high as I don't tend to attack NPCs much. I read somewhere that the missions you get from strangers depend on your honour. I can't say for sure that is wrong, there could be missions I don't know about, but I get missions like killings, kidknappings, hold ups etc which seem to me dishonerable, so I don't think the honour system effects the missions you get given.

I find it difficult to maintain low honor, hunting raises it and I do alot of hunting. I really not concerned with my online honor as it wouldn't change the way I play

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I've maxed the honourable route and I didn't even finish the few first missions but it doesn't seem to matter at all (at this point at least). I suspect that they will turn that into a game feature if they plan for people to spend gold bars on changing it...

Some online story missions depend on honor. It's easy to alternate between good and bad. I would do whatever you want, regardless of impact. You can always switch it later. Thieve's landing is a great place to lower honor, and skinning animals raises it quickly as Hatch said.
