Over here thay say wearing a mask and not knowing how to handle/wear it could easily have the opposite effect on spreading.  Along with the possibility to create a false idea of safety, and reduce the distance that is more important.

But who the hell knows..

Just got another notification of confirmed covid in my kids close daily environment, usually a classmate or teacher. Over the last two months we must have received an average of 1-2 msg per week.
It is also getting closer at work with confirmed cases at both my and the mrs workplace.

Weird feeling. Stay safe!

Finally became personal. Two people in the wife’s family are on Ventilators.

Three co workers very sick and at least one is confirmed positive.

Hopefully they all pull through.

Unfortunately the timing of the recent spike in the US cases correlates with thanksgiving. Expect the same trends to happen globally in mid January after Christmas and New Year.

I’ve already told my mum I’m not seeing her at Christmas and she should stay at home in her nice safe area with low cases. She isn’t listening though and still driving up to see my sisters.

There will be other events after this year, I have no problem cancelling all festivities for 2020. It’s a shame that many people are ignoring that advice and trying to carry on as normal.

Yesterday they changed the recomendations to allow people over age 15 to practice sports again. Personally i feel releived to see my 17yr old daugther happy again after both her volleyboll and school been shut down.

@Sinistersorry to hear that, hope things improve!

My Son was gonna come out Christmas to see his other Grandma and me. I just msg him about rethinking the trip. He replied back that he's already been rethinking it.

Postponing events isn’t the end of the world. We live in a interconnected world now, great postal services as well as internet communications mean you can socialise across the country and world without having to be there in person. It’s not the same as a physical connection but it’s the safer thing to do right now.

Here at work it was caused by one guy showing up sick. Coughing and hacking everywhere. After that everyone in the service writer area is sick.

I’m 800 miles from family and have no desire to see them so it makes not traveling for holidays very simple 🙂.   I don’t do it any year.

I'm positive and so is the wife and the mother in law. MiL is in her 70s and has a sh*t ton of conditions so we have to keep an eye on her. Really wish she had stayed in KY rather than risk what has happened.

Started on Monday and has felt more like a sinus infection than anything else. I was tired for a few hours one day but quickly recovered. Nothing but sinus pressure and headache after that, same with the other two. Then came the stomach problems but I've had that for decades. The sudden loss of smell let me know it wasn't sinuses. Took a rapid test this afternoon and the others got results from tests taken on Wed.

Doctor say my lungs sound good and quarantine is 10 days from initial symptom start, so I'm off work until Thursday. It is still nothing but a sinus issue for me, even though stuff I read on the web states it doesn't mess with ones sinuses. Go figure.

Pretty much the same symptoms Ultra's father-in-law had a couple weeks ago. Pretty much back to normal now.

I only grow in living soil!
Because Fat Buds Matter!

Both kids have tested positive.

Even though my case is mild, I can tell you that you want no part of this thing. The body aches alone are like nothing I have ever felt. Really messes with your stomach, going to the bathroom is horrible.  Brings a terrifying reality to the term "sh*t Fire".
