The San Andreas Sponsorship Series is where all the big brands in the state flex their motorsport muscle to win bragging rights over who can throw the most money down the drain to be fast.

This Summers Championship was postponed and although new dates haven’t been set yet competitors will need time to get their garages in order so we’re posting information now to help everyone get ready.

The racing will take place on more than one night and over a series of 12 classes.  These will include.

Super

Sports Classics

Muscle

Rally

Classic Rally

Off Road

Compacts

SUV

Hotring

Open Wheel

And new for this event the Sports class will be split into two categories, Modern Sports and Retro Sports.  The year 2000 is a rough cut off point.  If in doubt, ask the organisers.

Modern Sports Class examples would include the Jugular, Paragon R, Imorgon, Lynx and Schlagen GT etc

Retro Sports Class examples: Jester Classic, Sentinel Classic, Comet Retro Custom, Elegy Retro, Futo, GB200, Omnis, Tropos, Sultan Classic and Penumbra FF.

Note this does not apply to the Rally class, which is still just Sports Rally and Classic Rally

The following Sponsors are rumored to be looking for drivers:

Xero Gas !st spot reserved for the potential return of @JuniorChubb

Fukaru

Atomic Tires

Redwood Cigarettes @Mark Verstappen @doubleg213

Sprunk/eCola  - @mulder

Globe Oil

Auto Exotic

Piswasser

@Paulie is in for Redwood , Piswasser or possibly Dusche

Other sponsors may be suggested and considered but these 8 have the most resources and biggest selection of cars available.

Once you pick a team you will only be able to race in cars which sport your teams livery.

A full list can be found here: https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/696-cars-and-motorbikes-listed-by-livery/?tab=comments#comment-8818

Some sponsors are stronger in some classes and weaker in others.  There are a couple of occasions where your sponsor doesn’t have a vehicle in a class.  When this happens you have to go in the same car as your slowest competitor and paint it in your team colours.

For example, Atomic and Piswasser don’t have an SUV.  The slowest competitor is Redwood who have a Rebla GTS so Atomic will paint a Rebla GTS Yellow and Piswasser will paint a Rebla GTS dark Blue.

Another example:  Compacts: The four teams that don’t have compacts will go in Blista Kanjos in team colours to match the pace of the slowest teams, Globe Oil and Fukaru.  In this instance Sprunk and Atomic will have the advantage in Brioso R/As.

I know it sounds complicated but once you pick a team a full list of what you can take for each class will be given to you and there’s plenty of time before we get to the first race.  Trust us, we’ve got it all worked out.

More info will follow but for now pick a team and sign up if you’re interested.

@SkyeDaveI am impressed... is it a Deathmatch creation? You can only use five different vehicle types though.

Or a Transform race? Nut then how did you get out of the cars?

Can you smell what the Stone is cooking?

You got me, death match creation.  It no longer exists.  I created it purely to get a good photo to drum up some interest.

Redwood open for a spot?

Piswasser dont like the dutch according to their commercials so I'm not driving for them. 😁

So this isnt planned for this week right? Gotta come up with something for this wednesday then.

Awesome, awesome, awesome @SkyeDave!!!

Lols Stapp, I would say Redwood too 😅

But I also do like Pisswasser I dont mind whatever is best for balancing. And is it the most fun if everyone had their own and a different team or do we team up? In that case the sponsorship manager may write the dutchies down for Redwood. 😃

To be fair of course I would've liked to sign the Dusche sponsorship but they are indeed just a small player compared to the big sponsors so better to let them grow a bit more first lol

Looking very much forward to this!

Thanks  Paulie, I've put your name down.  Last event I did we had 12 so it would be great to get two people per team again but it depends what the uptake is.  It wouldn't be impossible for you to go Dusche Gold Racing.   You'd have to paint a few stock looking cars orange to do Hotring, off road, SUvs muscles etc but we could do it for sure.  You'd be weak in some classes but you'd be the only team running the Club in the compact class so you'd have your moment for sure!

No,  Challenger is going to do something this week.

I was just reminding people it could be a thing if there was enough interest.  I'm actually wondering if it might be more suited to teaming up with Domestic Battery on Wednesday nights or maybe even for SRL.  I've been racing contact with XDBX the last few Sundays and it's been really good fun.  I think the combination of them and the Vansters all racing together would be good.

We have done a few nights of contact racing with them in the past, it always goes well. However they tend to start at 9 on Wednesday’s, just be aware of this when planning.

Pushing back to 8:30 or 9:00 usually solves the time issues.
