Apparently it varies, but it appears Coke is the best bet ($440.000-$450.000 per bag guaranteed).

Finally managed to complete an elite challenge, only 2 awards left for the heist now, going in disguised (One of them) and getting that panther as primary target (Proffesional thief). ☺

And it wasn't the smoothest run either to be honest, still did few things slow and wasted quite some time here and there, but if it helps anyone in any way, here's a complete run:

Guess I was lucky. Just stay alert for any small blue dots on the minimap, indicating a random event while in free roam. A passed out drunk guard appears at several random locations (outside bars, clubs) and you just search him and pick up a key.

Did anyone try the idea of starting the scoping out from the north, in order to get the Velum to spawn in the south? To not having to fly that plane all across the map.

The closest I've had the Velum mission so far has been at the Sandy Shores airport I think. It is probably the most time consuming part of the heist though, besides following that slow *ss Valkyrie across the map.

Tried to move around between the 3 most northen submarine-points and start the scope out (8 times in total). No pattern, and no Velum ever spawned south of the Zancudo spot.

Here's my standard Gather Intel mission that I usually do (unless I'm prepping for something extra or looking for daily treasure), recorded yesterday.

- I check if there's a truck at the airport

- I check all the loot cameras at the compound in case I'll be doing the finale with someone else

Damn bushes. El Rubio can't catch me, but those damn bushes kept me a prisoner on the island.

I went for cover to check the minimap and couldn't get out after that. I had to Find new session. Looks like it counts as a succesful Gather Intel mission anyway, once you scope the primary target at the communications tower (I was getting a boat to look for daily treasure here), as I was able to continue with prep missions despite abruptly finishing the Gather Intel mission.

Read about and tried with fairly good results. When getting the weapons from the ceo office, shoot a rpg in the reception to start a fire that will spread and kill most of the enemies. I shot the glass doors open first with a gun, then the rpg, then just watch the dots dissappear on the minimap.

I've tried a really fast escape last night, esecially useful for quick elite challenge if you're lucky and get 2 paintings in the office while doing it solo or with 2 players with full loot bags from the compound.

Just grab a bike and drive off the SW tip of the island, pull back on the stick to jump as long as possible, then swim out. This is probably the shortest swim to the edge of the map, where it triggers end of the heist. If you're in a scuba outfit, even better.

I will post a few videos from my setups. Nothing new, but I figure if we share how we do our setups we could all perhaps find something new.

First, I noticed @PretendWereDeadposted a screen from flying a helicopter on the Island scoping. I figured i share a video on how to do that if anyone want to try that.

Nice @Lann. That burning down the office in the weapons prep looks good. 😁

I see you also call for an Opressor MkII for the Plasma cutter, it makes that prep so much easier and faster.

A little tip for the Kosatka approach vehicle prep. One spawn souther is actually a little closer to that site (North Chumash spawn I think). I use periscope and torpedos to destroy the chopper and 3 boats, then drive the Kosatka right in that yellow circle. I feel that the sub is actually faster than the Stromberg. If I had a Toreador, I'd probably use that instead though. Then I just swim right down, do the job and right back up and there's no boats or choppers appearing before I'm back into my Kosatka.

Other missions are pretty straightforward.

I'm at around 1h from start (paying $25k to set it up) to finish (back in freeroam after finale), give or take few minutes if there are no major hiccups.

I'll upload some of the videos when I can (slow internet, uploading takes all bandwidth).

I also have a PB Elite challenge finale to upload (9mins), since I was lucky with 2 paintings in the office.

So the DLC's been out for weeks now and I have watched countless videos of all the Heist approaches and have read plenty of threads....but not once had I come across someone talking about this whale. So imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon it, which was kind of strange to me because I swear I had been to this part of the map before and suddenly I see it. I know its old news but sh*t was very new to me...
