Good job rockstar 😂  you promo'd content for an update that ended one day before the update came out ☠️ 😂  I just got the update today, sat through a video that I couldn't skip, Just to find out that I need to pay 50k on top of 1.2-2million for a car..plus upgrades to be able to keep up to anyone👌

Deadass brilliant guys. You have now forced people who don't own a "tuner" car to get slammed into last in a forced stock car by *children in a fully upgraded car with little to no choice meaning most won't even progress👏👏..that being said I want my 50k back...there better uses then that 🤣☠️☠️

*Children being kids under age and the ADULT children who can't drive anyways

Passed the Prison contract by myself. Setups were easy. The finale wasn’t too hard got a bit lucky doing it by myself.  Would’ve been easier with at least one other.
All things considered I don’t find the prices of everything to be too outrageous.  I’m liking the DLC so far. I’m digging the Fast and Furious vibe 🙂

Are these new cars only available to race in the specific Tuners races? Does anyone know if they will be practical anywhere else?

Far as I know the new vehicles are in their own class and only used in their own races.

That is good to see. Would be a shame if they were limited to seven races with built in shortcuts they every short shifting, brake boosting “ top level racer” will have memorized within days.

I bought them all on the dark side and plan on seeing if they are useful or not.

A lot of the shortcuts actually dont give any advantage due to 90° exits. Taking the actual track means you carry more speed than the shortcut. It does vary though.

My first thought was pretty much that the actual track will quickly be unused in favor of the shortcuts, but Im now thinking it'll be a bit of a mix depending on the skill of the driver and how well they know the tracks. I dont think it'll take long for the racers here to figure out which are worth taking (Im getting a hang of it myself but there are people here that are better at figuring those things out, so no doubt itll happen fast), but a lot of randoms will probably go slower through the shortcut or skip it entirely, depending if they're a racer or rammer. We were even talking about which are worth taking during WoW, so Im interested to see what people think in a few weeks, with crew and randoms as I expect a fair bit of variance.

I'd like an option to quick join the new races. I hate having to travel from my office in Del Perro to the car meet just to join without having to host. I'm probably missing something though that I should already know after so many years, so if anyone has some advice with that (not changing where I load into though) Id really like to know 🙂

Also the Asian due at the car meet reminds me an awful lot of Jimmy. 😏

Can definitely see it, especially with the Asian guy.

Tried out nearly all of the stock cars yesterday in WoW. There are a few complete duds in there that are probably best used for showing off or drifting. The Jester RR and Calico are the best (and most expensive) cars for me. The choice between the two depends on your racing style. The Calico has some moments of understeer but feels more planted in general.

If you have amazon prime one of the auto shops is free, so look out for that if you don't want to spend 1.5 to 2M on that.

So regarding the shortcuts...

I've notived in the last few hours that even the 90° exits can vary (usually being contact or not) so Id really like to compare the shortcut vs actual track with others that are of similar racing skill or even better. I've posted a one off event of these tracks that Ill be hosting this weekend but Im sure it'll take more than that to really test it out, but Im definitely interested to see how good or bad the shortcuts are against you guys.

I think comparing it amongst us is the best comparison instead of randoms since we've been racing together for years, so we all know what to expect from each other and so a shortcut will hopefully be obvious if its worth it or not.

We talked about the 90 degree exits yesterday and im also curious which ones work and don't work. I think non contact will make them more usable because you don't have to worry about sideswiping someone or getting crashed into. I wouldn't mind testing them out, allthough i'm not exactly sure where I fit in racing skill wise.
