I didn't know thegang cars were selling for 12k. I'll try to find one when hoping in GTAO.

Usually I sell one car before going into racing. I launch the quick race app from the phone and see what happens after. I almost never play when most of you are online so I'm often on my own doing races. :(

Buy a cash card? All joking aside though, grinding high payout missions really helped me out.

I think cash cards are a good alternative, regardless of what the morons on GTAF think about being against micro-transactions, not supporting the game and all that stuff  :D.

I have bought around £70 worth of cards since release.

OK, you don't get value for money when you consider how long it would take to earn the same amount in GTAO but if you want to make a fast purchase then it's a good idea.

So by CCC3 you mean Crystal Clear Out 3? I just did that one with a Buzzard (first time using one in a mission) and that shit was fun as hell.

Ya that's the one.. the only problem is if you don't land the heli before the mission is over it crashes and you have to call another, assuming you're doing a PL of them.

I never noticed it should be CCO3, I always saw it as CCC.

*edit - I forgot to add, that since 99.9% is completed using the buzzard, there is almost no ammo used (1 or 2 bullets max).

Do you have a link to a CCC3 playlist or is it unlike some other missions and I can build it on my own?

Still need to buy a buzzard though.

You can make a playlist of CCO3, I did but I deleted it because it's boring as hell.

Yeah grinding in general is f*cking boring.. but this one doesn't need full concentration, mostly watching tv.

*edit  If you do it as a PL here's how I do it, preserving your buzzard and landing close by are keys to efficiency.

I shoot a little at the middle camp as I'm flying towards the furthest away, take out that one.  Come back for the middle camp, take it out and then hit the one to the right, that way I can park the heli close to the mission start.  There's one guy who hides around the side of the building, I get out of the chopper and stand in front of a wooden barricade to the right of the light pole and you can see him.  If he doesn't want to show his face pop a round in the side of the trailer and he'll start shooting at you.

Potshot is a walk in the park, plus once played you can create a playlist from recently played jobs. Took me about an hour and five to do sixteen today, first time I tried it.

Check this vid out on how to do it super easy.

I also splash out on cash cards. I don't have a problem spending money on this game.

I stopped grinding when I started joining more playlists, I got 140k the other day from a couple of them and I wasn't bored once. I find jumping from mission to mission using the voting screen is MUCH more interesting especially with other people.

Doing missions from the voting screen is ideal because it always puts you close to where you need to be and it's a lot quicker. If someone simply starts a mission you all start wherever the creator starts it from is where everyone starts.

The best and most efficient play is having a solid core of four people (which is a lot harder than it sounds) and just mission hopping in the voting screen. The team can decide whether those times where nothing good pops up on the voting screen whether you all want to do a quickand easy mission to get back to the voting screen or if you disband to set up a better job.

Thanks Hannabis.  I didn't realize I could do it myself when I asked that.  I'll try it out once I buy a buzzard.

That would be preferable most of the time, different missions with people is fun, but then you have to find people.  And hope good missions come up.  And wait for people.  And deal with Rockstar servers.  Sometimes it's just easier to solo grind if you have some time and/or nothing is going on with the crew.

And I mentioned to DC earlier, I make between 10-25k on a PL (=1-2 potshots which takes 7 minutes).  And while I'd rather do those and they're a lot of fun, they aren't great moneymakers for me :D

potshots is no longer good as they've nerfed the payout by over half since it's so easy lol :(

Yeah, voting screen mission hopping seems like the best money maker now that missions are balanced.  We did it for a few hours last night and I made something like 250-300k.

Too bad about potshot, it was so nice and easy to just hop in by myself for a little while and make 10k every 3 minutes.

Yeah all these went out the window with the new update.  Seems they all kinda pay the same, but you get more when it takes a little longer to finish and there are more people.  4 of us were averaging 10k - 19k for regular menu missions.

Also noticed you might get paid less when you use a pegasus vehicle.

4 people + messing around/fucking up seems to be the way to go for max money.  I understand the purpose of the "Longer time/More money" thing but it seems they didn't really think that through.

I wonder if the Pegasus vehicles thing is a matter of finishing the job quicker?

I didn't really test it, it was brought up by someone else.

Here's why I think it might be true though.  I did CCO3 solo w/ a buzzard and got $5100 (1/2 of what it used to be), I did it again later that day w/ 3 others grabbed by buzzard and we only got $9100.  Now $9100 seems low for the new systems, especially w/ 3 or 4 crew.

Yeah, I was just spitballing based on what Rockstar said.  Wouldn't surprise me if they slipped in a Pegasus deduction and didn't tell anyone.  Waiting for the GTA forums guys to work out all the new variables and see which missions/configurations pay the most.

Nothing scientific yet, but I did CCO3 solo/hard/buzzard twice. This time after ordering the buzzard, I set a timer for 10 minutes, then proceeded to kill NPC's on the road infront of the buzzard until 10 minutes went by. Then I hopped in the buzzard and took out the Vagos to finish the mission. The first time I got +3k RP and +$16k, then the next time I got +3k RP and +$18k. I did seem to kill more NPC's the second run.

  • 2 weeks later...

just throwing this out there if any1 is interested. i got a call from Gerald for a mission that said NEW for me called Hard Labor. i put out invites and only got 1 person to join like usual lol, and of course this random guy left after i drove to the construction site which made me have to solo it on hard. anyway, it makes u kill some npcs on the each floor then the boss who gets in a helicopter.

first time i did it i used a couple vests, died as i reached the roof, and realized the boss took off so there was no reason to clear the roof. i chased him down til he landed and sniped him from atop a hill or a decent 21k. i then repeated the mission by calling my buzzard, flying there, blowing up the outside guards, land the chopper, clear out the first and 2nd floor now knowing where the men are, immediately jump back down the stairs instead of going to the roof, hop in my buzzard and send a rocket to the boss. i'v got this down to 7-9 minutes for a payout of 13-15k.

if u chase the boss's helicopter til he lands (extra 6+mins) in your buzzard u only get an extra 2k, if u chase him in a car, possibly shooting the men coming after u, it's up to an extra 4k.

if you don't have a buzzard, simply clear the 1-2 floors and chase him in ur car, he lands near the NOOSE HQ and you can climb the building to steal a buzzard on ur next mission, alternating between chasing him and shooting him right away :P

shooting the all the henchmen might take a few practice runs in order to not take too much damage to waste coin on multiple vests, i still have to buy 1 vest each time
