JustHatched 12,123 Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Just to save anyone some frustration, If you use either of the headsets mentioned in the title with your PS3, either will work with the PS4 but it isn't just plug and play like the PS3. Long story short the only way it will work is to download the Companion App from the PS Store to your PS4 and then plug the headset into the PS4 via USB cord and download the app to the headset and it will then work like it is suppose to. If you do online research it's all wrong, most tell you to plug it into the controller like the factory supplied ear bud, you can get game sound that way thru the headset but the mic will not work, you must download to app as mentioned above. 2 Quote The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
