Think I might have found a way. Will test it later. Think you have to run this job: http://rsg.ms/00464f9 kill the clowns and collect their weapons. Not sure if it will work or not. If it does I'm up for a musket contest. Should really stage a war of independence remake. Brits vs the Yanks. Shame the match making for teams is so unbalanced and you can't choose your own team anymore.

This is fun and I hope someday the DLC weapons are added to the creator because this can never be played outside of the crew with the intended purpose and have people stick to the rules, even within the crew there are a few that go for the auto weapons.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Really like the job, fun to use a weapon you don't use that often. The setting is great, just a shame that not everyone owns the musket. Don't really like it when I get killed by other weapons (auto/ semi-auto), when I'm reloading for 3 seconds. But that's something that's out of your hands, great creation and an original one (as far as I know) :D

agreed with PB.

Fantastic TDM. The setting, the background, the props are all spot on. The only problem is that not everyone has access to the musket.

We tried it with shotguns and pistols for those who did not have the musket, but it did not amount to the same thing. Damn u, R* !

Ronin and Jesse have got it spot on, great unique idea. Map works well. definitely had the civil war feel. Weapon balancing was off though unfortunately but that's out of the creators hands. The musket is a powerful weapon in GTA but it needs to be to make it a viable option when coming up against the rest of the small arms.

Loved the XDBX Civil War with muskets.

It was one of the most enjoyable DM's I've played.  :)

Props & location were great, & the scale seemed just right too.

There were a few laggy moments for some people, but in the main it played out ok for me.

I normally stay in cover during DM's, so it suited my style of play really well, plus I didn't have to run around looking for bigger guns & more bullets.

The hardest part was deciding whether to reload or roll during combat.  Instinctively you wanted to roll, but that just delayed the reloading process even more.

It's quite funny to stand face to face with an opponent, just waiting to see who finishes reloading first.

Not sure how this map plays out with conventional weapons, but I'll definitely give that a go too.  ;)

A good alternative for those who don't have muskets is the Marksman Pistol, fits with the theme and reloads a fraction quicker than the musket without the same stopping power. A Free Aim lobby makes it even more enjoyable!
