Last weekend we went to one restaurant for an appetizer and a drink and another for dinner:

Scampi Arrabbiata (shrimp, garlic, chile flake, lemon, garlic toast) with a One Night Stand ( x-Rated Liqueur, skyy passion fruit vodka, cranberry, sweet and sour, champagne float )  to drink.  Also came with bread and oil.  Name of the restaurant is Crush!

Dinner at the next restaurant was Stuffed Calamari ( Breaded calamari fillet stuffed with scallops, shrimp & crab with a romesco sauce. Served with roasted rosemary red potatoes & fresh vegetables )

When we got engaged they gave us a dessert on the house!

Grilled chicken, cheddar cheese, bacon and fries.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

My pregnant wife keeps buying these every other day.

That's right, I'm gonna be a dad :D :D :D

Can't believe I missed this.  Holy shit. @Fido_le_muet.   Congratulations, mate.  :) ? :) ? :)

Like a good little Mamma bird, she had you building the nest all last year.  I had a feeling this was gonna happen soon.  :D

Haha thanks ! Looking back you're absolutely right.

Well, Mamma bird is at the hospital now. Been doing too much stuff between work, car travels, weekends and now our little girl is a bit too excited and wants to come out early. Still 3 months to go so Mamma has to stay put in the bed and not do anything. She's staying at the hospital 2 more days and will come home after that. No more work and absolutely no moving.

It's a bit scary cause as much as we wanna see our girl, it is definitely too soon ! Needs to stay in that belly until at least early october.

Certainly a little scary, @Fido_le_muet.  Hope all goes well, mate.  Definitely a little too early for your baby girl to come out.

Keep in mind though, care and treatment for premature babies has come a long way in the last couple of decades.  Obviously the longer the better, but there is an extremely good chance that everything will be ok if your little one decides she's ready now.

I have a 2nd cousin who was born a staggering 18 weeks prem.  Now in his early 20's and has grown up perfectly fine.  After a couple of years, there was no noticeable difference between him and the other kids his own age.  Fingers crossed though. :)

Yeah I know but I just want to reduce the risk to a minimum so she's must better inside.

Should be fine now that mommy's staying put :)

Looks delicious, though I can see all the Italians rolling their eyes, shaking their heads and facepalming. ? (too many and too much toppings).

I had a fun 4h session in the kitchen yesterday, making all this from scratch:
