ErnYoung 548
For my first race creation I wanted to create an off road motorcycle race similar to the Erzberg Rodeo. The Erzbreg Rodeo is considered to be one of the most difficult enduro races in the world. For those not familiar here is a link to e pretty good video summary of the 2013 race: http://youtu.be/g3b-Q0dMSHE. ScottyB 2,086
Wow crazy vid, I have never seen it but get your inspiration for it now It was pretty good but I think you need to revise a few checkpoints to make it more flowing. Basically i try to make the arrows point to where you need to go so people don't go up the wrong trail. There were a few spots that were hard to follow cause the checkpoints were too far away. Run through the track slowly and see if you know where to go just by looking at the checkpoints and arrows. That should help you spot what needs to change. The part through the hills seemed to be a bit strange at parts, not sure why exactly.. I think cause the checkpoints are a bit far apart and that there is no actual route. I hope that helped a bit 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/4218-otherzberg-rodeo-enduro/#findComment-68555 Share on other sites
Beez 5,091
How did I know you were going to make this. I thought of making an Erzberg inspired race a few months ago but after my failed attempt at making a Peoria TT track I haven't been back to the Creator. I'd love to read more reviews of this or see a video sometime. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/4218-otherzberg-rodeo-enduro/#findComment-68605 Share on other sites
JustHatched 12,123
I agree wit Scotty, it's fun and could be really awesome with a few tweaks. If it were mine I would lock it to Sanchez so the street bike stay on the street. 2 Quote The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it. ErnYoung 548
I will jump back into the creator and use your suggestions. I was trying to use props to help guide players but I found there is a limit of 100 and quickly ran out of them. I also found that reading a LEFT ARROW sign is difficult at speed and jumping around. I had not thought of adding more checkpoints. ErnYoung 548
I have made some updates. The good news is that course has been shortened due to the checkpoint limit and the need to condense them; the sanchez has been locked now that I know how to do it; and the course is better marked. The bad news is the rock garden at the finish stretch is tricky.
