Why are you still playing GTAO?

This game has been out for a long time now, and we have been playing mostly the same stuff and yet we still keep coming back for more.

This is my first and only online game so far. What brings me back to this game is that it is very diverse with a lot of things to do. Deathmatches, races, captures, exploring the land and mucking around and trying out stupid things in free roam.

The online aspect, and this crew In particular, make the game more enjoyable. I play regularly with most people in the crew and enjoy spending time playing playlists and mucking around with you guys. Without this crew, I would most definitely have stopped playing by now.

The game is easy to play, no matter what mood your in. You can be competitive or just muck around and have fun.

1.Crew Battles,absolutely love them.In no other game have I done anything similar.

I was never into racing and shooter games,but have learnt both from GTA and have fun doing them.Would also like to improve my flying skills.

 

2.Casino DLC would be awesome.Also,if R* decide to get rid of the 9999$$ 9999RP deathmatches somehow,it would make the quick job option more useful and I'd spend even more time playing.We also need the DLC weapons back in the creator.

 

3.Its the best crew.SIMPLE.

1. I enjoy crew battles first and foremost, but I also enjoy random jobs with crewmates, friends and randoms.

 

2. I don't want anything new (although it would be nice), I just want the current game fixed. Quick job filters, there should be at least two options, one for R*/verified content and another for custom jobs.

 

Also ban the words 'hack' 'RP' and '$' from descriptions and titles of jobs. Once that is done, how about allowing us to use words such as 'Faggio' and 'night'.

 

3. Everything about this crew is great, it's exactly what a GTAO crew should be. I can just imagine all those IGN/MP3 yoloswaggers shooting each other as we speak!

What makes you want to come back and play this game over others?

 

Like you, this is my first online game experience.  I've made so many friend's from this crew alone and those friendships keep me coming back daily.  I'm a huge fan of all GTA games, so that's what keeps me here too.  Honestly though, if there was no online aspect to GTA V, I would have been done playing it after getting 100% in story mode.

 

What would you like to see added to keep things fresh?

Any type of new DLC.  Opening up that casino would be great.  In San Andreas, we could use the casinos and play games inside of them.  If they could do that in 2004/2005, why can't they do it 10 years later?  The last couple of DLC's haven't been that impressive or just haven't grabbed my attention.  The game is kind of boring without having new content, but at least I have you guys to keep me entertained.  

 

What are your favorite things about being in this crew?

The friendships.  I love you guys.

1. What makes you want to come back and play this game over others?

It's the people in this crew by far. The only other games I played regularly online is the Gran Turismo series and one of the PS3 007 games. GT6 doesn't seem as user friendly online with friends, but I don't think I really took the time to figure it out. Honestly I went through about 2 months where I didn't even put GTA in because the crews I used to play with moved onto other games. This crew is the only reason I keep playing.

2. What would you like to see added to keep things fresh (besides heists )

I'm not even sure I care about heists at this point.

I'd honestly be happy with some decent DLCs. It doesn't have to be anything major, but I really want an update with a car based on the new Ford GT. I know we have the first GT with the Bullet.

3. What are your favourite things about being in this crew?

It's just a great solid group of people. Hopping freeroam talking to randoms is just frustrating. It's relaxing spending time with like minded mature people, and everyone seems pretty understanding when I have to hold off between jobs when I need a couple of minutes to wrangle kids.

GTA fan since day one. It's the one game that deliveres the full package imo: beautiful and immersive world, humor, freedom, the vibe about it, different game modes in both SP and Online, racing, shooting, flying, going all serious RPG or going all Jackass or Evil Knievel, the do-whatever-you-want-atmosphere is what always makes me come back. The possibilities are endless if you have a bit of fantasy.

 

2. What would you like to see added to keep things fresh (besides heists )

 

Simple things really:

- some new vehicles (Sabre !!!!!!!!, Faction, NRG900, etc)

- some new clothing (e.g. racing gear, uniforms of all kind from road workers to fire(wo)men to doctors to cops to motor cross, more variety in general)

- some additional weapons (flamethrower, screw driver, katana, revolver, Winchester rifle, throwing knives, bows, rappel system ...)

- definitely more possibilities in the creator (more then 100 props, additional props, sequential objectives in captures so that one objective triggers the next one, etc etc).

- little tweaks like remove Catch Up and nerf Slipstream and turn if OFF by default, race classes that make more sense and with more then just one or two viable options, additional (racing) liveries for vehicles, a selection/filter screen when looking for random jobs, less connectivity issues, bug fixing and a squeaker detection system with instant nuke button.

I'm really not that demanding, u know

 

3. What are your favourite things about being in this crew?

 

That it is not just about the game. It's a proper community/family with a healthy and mature approach. The fun, the friendship, the cocking about, the creator's guild, the fresh ideas, the initiatives, the freedom that is given to its members, the live and let live mentality, the openess.

Some really good answers that are all fairly similar too. I never played gta 4 online but a casino DLC would be awesome. Personally I would like poker. It would add a whole new dynamic to the game and would attract old players back. Also, if they had other house games, people would lose a lot of money making them have to play more to get more money so it's win win for them.

I would love to see new vehicles in the game as well. Not sure how hard it is to add them, but that's where all my money goes. If they kept regularly adding a few new vehicles, it will still keep people interested.

The games versatility is great. I enjoy all aspects of the game, not just one thing. If I only wanted to race, I would play GT6 or something like that. Or COD for only shooting things up.

That's what makes this crew stand out. Is that it is full of friendly like minded people who enjoy all aspects of the game. And it has become way more than just the game thanks to the website. We are now a community and talk about anything and everything with each other.

Also the playlists and events we organise are great fun. It's hard to find good quality new content to keep things interesting let alone getting people to play your creations.

I also have no idea why they haven't blacklisted the max Rp and money titles yet they block other innocent words.. I think I big reason people won't play other created content is cause a lot of it is rubbish and titled with "money hack" etc.. They should also show the description or whatever is meant to be there instead of "no translation". It would also be cool for them to slip in user created jobs in the job hop screen to give some variety instead of playing the same jobs over and over.

1. It's my fav game of all time and there's so much stuff to do.

 

2. Just fix the shit that's wrong, add all weapons, vehicles, and locations to the creator, no restrictions.

 

3. Best thing about this crew is the diversity. Diverse people, diverse interests, diverse opinions. This crew will make you a better player, and potentially a better person IRL.

1. i have been a avid gamer for a long time and really started enjoying it even more once i discovered online game play if im not mistaken my first real dabble in online play was with the game resistance. the best part was interacting with other people getting to know other people and having a fun time while doing something that was fun to do. i formed a good amount of online friends in resistance joined a fun crew and from there we branched off into other games mainly the call of duty series. while new games kept getting released we all kept getting them together and moving on together i eventually ended up starting my own call of duty crew and made many more friends in game. i eventually moved on to new crews and meeting new people some of the other crews i joined were alot more serious and we were active in the game battles websites for call of duty games. i still played with alot of the people on my friends list on ps3 until the day i got rid of it when ps4 launched and most of them have yet to move onto the ps3. so for a year before gta5 came out for ps4 i mostly just played single player mode on call of duty or some sports games every time i ventured back into online play it just wasn't the same with out a good group of friends to play with. i hated going in to a online match with a bunch random guys on my team and we get slaughtered because everyone is running around doing their own thing. i like the team work aspect of certain online games which gta5 gives us in missions and dm's ect. 

 

2. i would just like to see the game work correctly for everybody i personnaly have not experienced many issues with connections and trouble joinning things but i know others do and that just takes away from the game

3. best thing about this crew is the atmosphere of all the members it brings me back to my original gaming days and i feel like while i am still new to this crew there are alot of members that i really enjoy gaming with and look forward to continue gaming with in gta5 and whatever other games get released that people branch of to. it is a fun relaxed crew but when it is time to get serious people do it has everything that is needed to maintain the way it is going and can only grow to be bigger and better

To answer why I still play...just read this thread. Its all you guys, and gals, that make this game a blast to play. Its your playlists, your unique jobs, the diversity of our crew, the commradery, and on and on and on. I would have quit playing long ago if all I had was "randoms"

I wouldn't make any changes but would enjoy a game that works correctly.

You can do all kinds of things from playing golf to racing planes to deathmatches. That variety and of course you guys make it fun and keeps me coming back.

Id like to see more stuff for the avatars. clothes, cars, car mods, perhaps other more personalized options in the future. Id love to have a game like san andreas where there was so much more options for your character.

The fact that its quite active and alot of the jobs/playlist we do are from you guys keep this crew being the best!

 

I only play GTAO unless if its with you guys and i wouldn't have it any other way!

I have a very limited gaming budget so I don't get too many new games and since the PS4 is out I probably won't buy another game until I can get oen. I don't have a large library of games to chose from so it's either something a bit older or GTAV.

 

2. What would you like to see added to keep things fresh (besides heists )

I'm not sure here, maybe open up the Casino to allow gambling? That might be kinda fun to do. Some new actual missions would be nice as well. Adding new cars and weapons should also continue for a while.

The great attitude of everyone that I've gamed with so far.

While I truly do enjoy gaming with the crew, I have just about lost interest in the game. Between the PS3 side just about falling off the map and Rockstar severely lacking in fixing/adding content, I have been spending less and less time online, and on PS3 in general.

 

I love creating jobs, and doing PLs with the crew, but there is only so much to do. The creator really hasn't changed, the PS3 side is growing slim, even with the new recruits.

 

Maybe I just need time away from the game.

 

Just tonight I fired it up, drove around for about 30 seconds, and turned the console back off.

1. I played IV & RDR right up to the release of V. I just like R*s version of the sandbox game. I love to explore and I like the variety of vehicles to play with. I dabbled in online multiplayer but GTAO is my first real experience and I would have given up if it weren't for this crew (I can't stand the children and jerky randoms).

 

2. I'd like to see more use for the boats & aircraft. And the ocean which both of those could use. Search & rescue missions would be a start. I also would like the tugboat from IV return, it could be used in captures and TDMs like a floating fort. Treasure hunting and salvage missions in the ocean too. I'd also like to see the durability of vehicles turned down, they are too tough to break right now.

 

3. All the cool people from all over the world. I love hearing all your different accents and always dig on the fact that I'm playing a game and talking with someone half a world away. Also the accepting nature of the crew. I am not good at this game (I've gotten a lot better) but no one  seems to hold that against me (thank you).

I'm pretty bored with the game, to be honest. Heists and other dlc will get me back.

It also hurts that I'm in a new gig that has me traveling a ton (like three out of four weeks a month) and I'm going insane without my ps4
