There are ramps placed everywhere intended to flip you over. The idea is to avoid the ramps so that you have a quicked lap time. This will make you accidentally clip the ramp and flip. Other people can push you into the ramp also which can result in some crazy crashes. All the rocket pickups are placed infront of the ramps which distract you and also slow you down to pick them up so the choice is yours.
