This is a GTA race designed for the insurgent. All other classes are available too.

It is a basic track that is like 2 figure of eights together. Traffic is left on as standard, and if you want an extra bit of carnage, turn wanted levels on.

Really enjoyed this race Scotty.  :)

 

Only a couple hours after doing your race, we ran a few laps of Battle Wagon, Hatch's new GTA race that also uses the Insurgent. http://www.domesticbatterygta.com/topic/3167-battle-wagon/

Both races played out in a similar fashion, even though the location & race settings were different.

 

Seems like the Insurgent is a great vehicle for GTA races.  Because it can take 3-4 hits before blowing up, the race doesn't become too messy like some GTA races can.

- For a start, the Insurgent is quite responsive & quick for its size, so the racing is still fun.

- There are less burnt out wrecks blocking the track.  

- There can be ongoing battles between two or more drivers before one of them eventually blows up.

- Even if you've just re-spawned & get hit straight away, you'll only get knocked around a bit instead of getting spawn killed.

- The Insurgent ploughs through traffic, so instead of having a messy frustrating race, it actually becomes more fun. 

 

The track works well too.  The straights are long enough to space the CP's out so it's not too confusing to navigate, but there are still plenty of opportunities to cross paths with the other drivers for some extra destruction. 

 

I've only got one suggestion.  You could probably remove the health pick-ups if you wanted to.  They might make it too hard to blow each other up.

After running it the first time I realised the health packs were too much, so they will be gone in a few hours. I have also been told to turn off the cops as they cause too much chaos. I was leading th way and personally didn't have a problem but obviously other people did so wanted levels will be off as standard but you can always turn them on in the start up settings.

This has been updated, The health packs are all gone and wanted levels are set to off as standard, but should be able to be turned on at the hosts options menu in game.

 

If any one was wondering, the checkpoints arent in the best position as there are several checkpoints at each corner which means i have to keep them apart a certain distance. They are placed in the best positions that i can get them to and its still very easy to follow so there shouldnt be any problems.
