silenttigercd 863
I need to buy my third property to increase my garage size and I'm wondering which is in the best location. I'd like to know your opinions on the most convenient location for heists and general Los Santos activities. I noticed one very close to the action of the 'key cards' setup for Humane Labs so I think that might be a good choice. I just can't work out which one it is... EDIT: Just to clarify I need one with a 10 car garage Edited May 23, 2015 by silenttigercd Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/ Share on other sites
Fido_le_muet 5,198
Richard Majestic is the best location IMO. Eclipse is good too but there's always a bunch of morons hanging out there. 3 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-89711 Share on other sites
zmurko 7,622
I went looking today too, as I thought about upgrading one of my garages to an apartment (2nd), but wasn't happy with any of them, so probably wont make the move afterall. 1 Quote S U N D A Y R A C I N G L E A G U E Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-89715 Share on other sites
BMSTANG 182
The problem with Richards is there is usually a car partially blocking the driveway. Another bug in the game Rockstar just ignores. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-89799 Share on other sites
LN-MLB 2,583
I have Weazel Plaza, Richard's Majestic, and Eclipse Towers. I don't spawn at Eclipse for the reasons mentioned above. It's usually a war zone there, but the proximity to LSC and other major points in the city are nice. Richard's Majestic has a steep driveway, so it's hard to back out say a Manana if you decide you don't want to pull into the garage. I would recommend Weazel if you don't already have one there. It's a nice location--usually some activity, but not nearly as much as the Eclipse. It's close to the things you need and I like it because it's right across the street from my other apartment at the Majestic. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-89803 Share on other sites
ScottyB 2,086
It depends what you want from the game. I'm in the alta st apartment. The location is probably the best IMO because it's virtually equal distance to 3 LS customs so you can choose the quietest one, close to the helipads and airport. There usually aren't that many people hanging around there which is good an why I stayed away from the most expensive one. The tram line is directly out the front too so you can go into the tunnel really easily to escape poeple I also own the 2 10 car garages near the airport so it's easy to change which garage the cars are in when I want. I always just spawn in the garage so no point owning multiple apartments. Paleto bay would be nice also but most stuff is in the city so there isn't much point to me in spawning all the way up there if you're just going to be going to the city all the time. With the new DLC coming out hopefully soon, if you can wait it might be worth it in case they add new apartments but I wouldn't hold my breath for it. 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-89804 Share on other sites
Skorpion 2,529
I personally think Weasel Plaza is the best as i can exit the garage safely, and the roads around are mostly a few lanes, not crowded, and are pretty straight forward whether going to LSC, AmmoNation, across town, etc. Im currently using Richards Majestic which ive had no issues with either and as its right across the road has the same locational benefits. Only down side in my opinion is the garage is directly onto the street and not tucked away while still easily accessible like Weasel Plaza. Also own the 2 garages near the airport for pretty much same reason as Scotty, and the really close LSC. 1 Quote THE SKORPION PITMy Created Content Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-89822 Share on other sites
JustHatched 12,123
I keep a garage near LS Airport for flight reasons, Apt at Del Perro? just because an Apt is needed for heists. Then a 6 car garage near Sandy Shores (this is the one I use most for spawning). I have 10 vehicles in it though. I keep 4 race cars in storage that I never drive in freeroam but will not ge rid of either. 2 Quote The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it. ronin 596
Been using Richard's Majestic 51 since the very start. One of the cheapest appartments, centrally placed and relatively quiet location. Oh, and best view over the city IMHO. Driveway is a bit meh, but overall good value for money. Weazel, which is right next door, would be a good option too I guess and it has a better driveway. Plenty of shops around as well and the helipad is not too far away either. Next to that I also have the two 10-car garages near the airport. Very convenient and close enough to the appartment so no time is wasted when moving cars and bikes around between places. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-89850 Share on other sites
silenttigercd 863
Thanks for the responses all, it's certainly given me some food for thought. I currently own Eclipse Towers and one of the garages near the airport. There are so many factors to consider - it's often said buying property is the most stressful experience in life! 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-89880 Share on other sites
Xyon14 2,312
I can't remember the name of my apartment but it's across the street from the shop and a gun store is just around the corner... its a 10 car garage too. Bahama Mama's is across the other street if that helps. Its a pretty central location. 1 Quote Crew Policies and Vetting Procedure Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5638-best-apartment-location/#findComment-90156 Share on other sites
DavidCore89 7,404
Alta is my favourite, it's very central and doesn't have the stupid downstairs section. I also have Eclipse and Del Perro, but still prefer Alta.
