G37 3,445
Bravo Zulu Job Link: http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/QPS_-gdZIkiKMD4B3rM0tA This ended up being much more than I intended. I wanted it smaller and it ended up looking like this. This is an environment I'm not comfortable in. It's wide open. I prefer urban or suburban areas. This is my take on shitty "training facility" type matches and how I believe they should be implemented. - There are run and gun aspects, finding your way through a series of key cover and sneaking through low spots. - There's ample cover to plant yourself in a few of the strategic locations. - There's pacing present here, brush and thicket and swamp to slow you down as well as changes in elevation to break up sight lines. - There's powerful/good weapons here (hi Snacks), the weakest gun is an SMG. Assault Rifles are standard with a few Carbine, Combat MG, Grenade Launcher and one RPG pick up (no Snipers as it'd be too easy to be a satellite). - There's an actual need for strong team building (that's the real exercise) here because it might prove difficult to be a one man wrecking crew in an environment like this where moving as a group or in small teams is ideal. Needs real testing but I think it works in theory. Plan to see it in action tonight and adjust what needs to be. Default settings are intended and night time will have lamps on to signal the "bounds". Jaggy 2,811
This map works really well, IMO. As you know, we almost had a full lobby last night. This is a large map, although it doesn't really seem like it. Not sure how this would play out with a smaller lobby (less than 8) as it takes awhile to run and meet up with the other team. The props blend in well with the surroundings. The only thing that bothered me while playing was LN not dying after getting two clips unloaded into his face. Not your fault though. As always, good job with this map. Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5772-bravo-zulu/#findComment-92306 Share on other sites
ErnYoung 548
I like the overall concept. The lighting made this job unplayable for my old eyes. The amount and type of cover was difficult with the RPGs and Grenade Launchers in play. I would recommend removing the age discriminating lighting, adding more cover and limiting weapons to assault rifle and grenades only. =) Quote All that is necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing - General Dwight Eisenhower Allied Supreme Commander WWII Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5772-bravo-zulu/#findComment-92308 Share on other sites

It's not actually night though, night setting in GTAO is 9PM. This map is supposed to have minimal cover from what I can tell. I think the RPG could go as it caused a lot of players to fight over it for the full 10 minutes. Essentially, this map is kill or be killed, I was taking cover a lot in the first minute but it wasn't working out for me, so I switched to night vision and decided to run and gun. LN-MLB 2,583
I enjoyed this map. I have seen a few different varieties around this location, but I feel as though this one works better. I know I have told you already, but I would consider switching out the SMGs with more Assault Rifles or something similar. There's nothing necessarily wrong with having the SMGs, but once I had access to the other weapons, I never once used the SMG again. It just can't compete with anything else on the map. I think even replacing them with armor pickups may even work better. I know you mentioned removing the RPG, but I think it could go either way. I don't feel as though it necessarily needs to be removed, but if you feel as though it does, I completely understand. I am quite happy that you decided not to use snipers--that would have changed everything in my opinion. Overall, I love the feel, the atmosphere, and the high action level of this map. I think you have the minimum number of players at two, but I would consider bumping that up to perhaps 6. As mentioned, it is a larger map and I think it could hold as many as 20 without issue. Nice work! The only thing that bothered me while playing was LN not dying after getting two clips unloaded into his face. Not your fault though. I have no explanation either, sorry. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/5772-bravo-zulu/#findComment-92315 Share on other sites
