Here's a disgusting story for you all

Recommended Posts

About a month ago, my daughter went to Disneyland with her choir class from school. When she came back, she had this rash/hives on her chest and arms. The dermatologist said it could've been an allergic reaction to the laundry detergent.

As the days and weeks go by, her and my son are complaining about bug bites and I chalk it up to the mosquitos that get in the house sometimes.

Well...

turns out, my daughter brought back bed bugs from Disneyland. Her bed, the couches/chair in the family room all infested with bed bugs where she slept and kept her bags she took out there. Now all that shit is out back waiting for bulk trash pick up. One of the more disgusting things I've ever seen.

Hmm..

That makes me think,

None of my daughters live with me, and the one that has a different mom than the other 2 has had a bite issue for a couple weeks (I get the girls every other weekend) and her mom said the doc says it was flea bites. They got a couple cats that she's been told to leave alone (I'd get rid of the nasty ass cats but I don't live there), may it's not the cats...

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

It could be fleas, it could be bed bugs.

Bed bugs kind of look like ticks. I'd just have them look over their stuff and check for small beetles. The cracks or corners of rooms, by the baseboards, and of course their beds.

It's not the cats, Hatch.  Unless they are not well taken care of or are outdoor cats.  I have four cats and we've never ever, ever had flea issues.

Bed bugs wouldn't surprise me.  Disneyland is full of all sorts of nasty germs and god knows what.  It's a pretty fun place though.

I don't know how easy it is to get rid of bed bugs, but since your daughter's been back Seymor, I'd hire some professional cleaners to clean up your house too.

@Jag, I am a cat lover but the cats they have are outside and are the sorriest looking things there is. If I was one of those cats I would want somebody to put me down.

ANd it could be fleas and not bed bugs, my girl is thick headed and runs over her mom pretty easy.

@Seymour, I hope you situation is good now that you have identified the issue, sorry for the thread hijack but you got me thinking..
