G37 3,445
Project Yuna Job Link: http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/6El8eSgif0mHcFDJi8Z5Gw Video: This took me a number of hours to come up with, plot, test, refine and test some more. I'm not one for having favorites of my own work, but I haven't enjoyed a track of mine or felt this confident about one since Miami Horror. I think that's what got me inspired again as well, having a theme. Miami Horror was inspired by music on Radio Mirror Park, not anything in particular, but that's what I'm doing here as well. I will be revisiting this theme and applying it to future tracks for some continuity. They will be a "Project" series. For those interested this is the song "Live Your Life" from the artist Yuna, on Worldwide FM (I knew her stuff beforehand, good singer) Edited July 4, 2015 by G37 2 Quote "If you ride like lightning, you're gonna crash like thunder." - The Place Between The Pines Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6047-project-yuna/ Share on other sites
no_snacks 3,345
Awesome track, G. It's almost a "Best Of" circuit. Most of the corners are familiar to us from previous races. There's elements of Miami Horror, Muscle In, Sharkie's Street Circuit, Hit the Apex & Clappers Street Circuit. Those are all great tracks in their own right. Checkpoints & props are excellent. The layout is challenging but not too technical. It flows really well so it's fun to drive. If you have any props left, maybe you could add an additional tyre stack to one of the left hand side poles after CP 15. I was testing the track after we ran it yesterday, & I ran wide there & knocked it down a couple times. Could just be my shit driving, but it could penalise the people behind. It's easily one of the best tracks I've raced on. Excellent job. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6047-project-yuna/#findComment-96677 Share on other sites
LN-MLB 2,583
There's not much I can add to what snacks has said, but I fully agree--this is an extremely well-made track and very enjoyable to race. I actually enjoyed it more than Miami Horror, so that says quite a bit. Honestly, I think it's perfect for sports classics. I think it is defaulted as sports, which also works well, but I think this just feels "right" when sports classics are being used. I admit though, I'm not a fan of using super cars on this track, but that's perhaps a personal preference. Nice work, definitely a favorite. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6047-project-yuna/#findComment-96678 Share on other sites

Chewy 612
Loved this track G. G37 3,445
Video added. Thanks for the words. This shaped up into more than I thought it would. It started simply in an area I liked and before I knew it I had added pieces from races we all know and enjoy (which wasn't the goal) just by trying to figure out some kind of flow. DavidCore89 7,404
Nice track! Ran it with a few crew and friends today. It's quite a long track and difficult at times. I noticed no real issues with props, but one turn could use a stack to protect a pole on the exit (can't remember which one). Coupes and classics will take some time to complete 2 laps. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6047-project-yuna/#findComment-96918 Share on other sites
G37 3,445
Thanks to some fine tuning with the help of Snacks and Scotty (and to a lesser extent MLB who simply stole wins while we were conversing ), I believe this track is as good as I can make it. Props have been completely redone and there's a slight change in the route that isn't worth uploading a new video over for better flow. Cps have been optimized a bit more as well. I'm happy. 2 Quote "If you ride like lightning, you're gonna crash like thunder." - The Place Between The Pines Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6047-project-yuna/#findComment-98533 Share on other sites

no_snacks 3,345
Even in the slower Bravado Buffalo, this is still a great track, G. I like the change you made to the section near the LS Customs. It's now a deceptively high speed section which adds even more importance to the braking zone at the next corner on top of the hill. The only improvement would be to set the default time of day to noon. My old man eyes can't see shit at night. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6047-project-yuna/#findComment-109037 Share on other sites
