We can use the format though whenever we get 12 players or more. Maybe we could run something similar with XDBX in the near future. 2 Quote Can you smell what the Stone is cooking? JuniorChubb 3,360
Thanks to all who came along, we had a great nights racing and 13 different cars on the track. The mix in cars threw up some great battles, well worth the effort from all involved. After a brief meet up in free roam we started with Qualifying on the Top Gear Test Track. The times we set here would determine our Group for the rest of the night and we would be competing against our fellow group drivers as opposed to the whole field. Qualifying After 5 laps on the Top Gear Test Track we were left with 3 groups for the racing ahead. Once we were placed into groups the racing began, 8 races at roughly 7 mins each all on GTA imaginations of Real Life Tracks. The grid was ordered by group with a gap between groups to ensure the first corner of each race went smoothly. The winner of each race was awarded 15 points and each place after was awarded 1 point less with 13th place picking up 3 points. Race 01 Silverstone http://rsg.ms/1946005 Group A winner: Smash Group B winner: Trash Group C winner: Dave Race 02 Brands Hatch http://rsg.ms/274b235 Group A winner: Smash Group B winner: Mulder Group C winner: Ajbns Race 03 Monaco http://rsg.ms/f460315 Group A winner: Smash Group B winner: JC Group C winner: Ajbns Race 04 Mt. Mulder and Trash topped the group with 95pts each but Trash wins the group thanks to his 5 group wins over Mulder's 2. JC, Paulie and Lann took third, fourth and fifth respectively. Dave picked a winners with the Jester Classic with it excelling on the smoother tracks of the night leading to some great positions and the group win. Ajbns picked up second with 3 group wins and Stappen and DJW took third and fourth places. Overall Results Well done to Smash for topping the table with 6 wins in 8 races. Great showing from Mulder and Trash finishing up with the Group A racers. Dave also jumped up well above his grouping with 72 points. Thanks again for all coming along, respecting each other whilst driving despite the odd crash or two. Also for sticking to the format and regulations on the night. Don't forget you can come along to Race Club for more of the same, the Brioso Racing Cup on Saturday 21st September 2019... https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/592-brioso-racing-cup-saturday-21st-september-2019/ Next Wednesday Van Society will be running their Mystery Car night, details to follow ASAP. 3 Quote Can you smell what the Stone is cooking?
