Jaggy 2,811
But a lot of American's wear it. When I lived in Wisconsin, everyone had a North Face jacket. Messiah4Hire 11
The metric vs. imperial thing doesn't bother me as much as the Frankensteining of both systems together. We (all North Americans) measure wheel diameter in inches but tire width in millimetres. Same thing in construction - we measure pipe diameter in inches but length in mm. Durr. I see people wearing those parkas everywhere I go in the States, and not just in places where they have actual winter, either! In Canada (at least the part I live in) we wear Canada Goose instead. BMSTANG 182
That reads to me like it was written by someone who gathered the entirety of their knowledge of Americans from movies and television, and then considers themself an expert on the subject. America has so many parts that are all completely different from eachother. 6 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6198-15-dead-giveaways-that-somebody-is-american-by-non-americans/page/3/#findComment-100570 Share on other sites
JustHatched 12,123
I don't even know what North Face is... Quote The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it. This post made me think of the American House of Horrors. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xXWTcSpcLQ8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Argh! Sorry. Couldn't figure out how to embed from my phone.
