Alright. If you've played in a playlist with me you probably know that I'm pretty horrible at racing. I have about $650,000 in the bank, plus around $50,000 in cash, so $700,000 in total. I have a Turismo R, Insurgent (Variant), Dominator, Kuruma, and the Elegy RH8. They are all modded to the max for someone who is level 60, which is about half way to being completely fully modded. I was wondering if I should sell the Turismo R for a T20 (do a little more saving up obviously), or instead wait to rank up to upgrade the Tursimo even more. I was also thinking about doing the same thing with the Elegy (switching it for a race car). However, there is a third choice: I don't have a motorcycle, so I could also save up for a motorcycle.

I'd also like to know your guys' opinion on what's the best way to rank up. I think it's the Heists, especially now with the double RP and $. I was level 48 last week and now I'm rank 60. I was also able to buy all the cars, and upgrade them all, expect the Turismo (I bought that a couple months ago), solely from last weeks grind.

The most efficient way to rank up with good cash, is to grind the Simeon Mission "Blow Up 2" so long as the friend you duo with has a tank.  Once you move the yellow Banshee out of harm's way down the alley at the back of the car park, get your friend in the tank to rack up around 100 - 150ish cop kills, then hand the mission in after a quick call to Lester to remove your wanted level.  Repeat this as often as you feel like, can usually get in a good 5 runs in an hour, nets a rank or two and $100,000 give or take.

Heisting is pretty good for RP, although it's a better cash payout than RP payout, general PVE on contact Missions is the best RP going if you can run them swiftly.

if you're finishing last a lot it probably has more to do with skill than it does with the difference in pace between the Turismo and the T20, which is marginal over most tracks against your normal drivers.

My advice would be to find someone to swap wins with to unlock the mods and just get a heap of practice in. We've all been at the back of the pack in this crew mate, just keep working at it and you'll get there.

Turismo is a fine super car. You'll find yourself doing exceptionally well on more technical tracks with that. Only area you might lose out on is top speed, but those type of races are few and far in-between. Like with the Elegy, that's honestly the quickest car in the class but takes time to learn and become comfortable with. So as Chewy mentioned, it isn't hard to find someone amongst us to trade or give you race wins and then simply play around with and learn various cars.

For reference there's like a 1 second difference in lap times between the Zentorno, Osiris and T20. The Osiris and T20 cost a metric shit ton for very little improved performance over the Zentorno (all 4 when compared with the Turismo drive a bit differently, but the Zentorno is probably the more sensible solution.

Sports and Muscle and to a degree Super cars are probably are 3 most popular classes. Coupes and Sedans are also popular but not as.

Heists and missions aren't bad choices. Anything double RP is solid, so if there's any ever promotion going around you can't go wrong there. Something as silly as Rockets vs Insurgents can net a ton of RP/cash even to the losing side for simple nonsense. Of course finding yourself on a series of winning teams in a deathmatch is also an excellent source of RP, cash as well as insight and skill refining.

Turismo is no match for the T20 in the hands of a decent racer.

I sold mine for the same reason... People I was beating on a daily basis were able to be upto 2 seconds faster on tracks that I know inside and out.

The cost effective thing to do would be to sell the Turismo for a Zentorno because it's able to compete at a fraction of the price of the T20 and Osiris.

If you're looking to get decent vehicles for racing, then the Kuruma would be top of my list to get rid of.

Elegy is not the fastest, best or most cost efficient sports car... It lacks in pretty much every department vs Massacro and Jester Racecars and also the hugely under-rated Feltzer. Did I mention that you can't ever sell the Elegy?

Having fully modded vehicles or the best in class doesn't ensure a higher finishing position, skill means more than the vehicle IMO.

How many races have you done? It takes a long time and much practice to even keep up with some of the people in this crew.

That's where people go wrong in obtaining the vehicle mods through trading wins... They still lack the skill just like when the vehicles were stock because nothing has been learnt. Learn and win at the same time is my best advice.

Also, steal a Bati 801 (or buy it for 12K), it doesn't cost much to mod and it's the best motorcycle.

I use the Zentorno for my super and after a few months of racing with the crew my skill has improved enough that I can keep up with the leaders. I find the price of the T20 and Osiris to be unreasonable for the slight improvement when I know that the guys beating me will still be beating me if I were to waste that money.

The car is only as good as the person driving it. Youll need the upgrades, but skill is the most important part. If you can handle the Turismo and be competitive in it, then its up to you if you think the slightly increased performance of the T20 and Osiris is going to put you in front or around the same position. In my opinion, if its not going to put me that much further ahead then its not worth it. Id rather keep the millions and work on skill, and enjoy knowing that I can at least keep up with some great racers.

The T20 is in the end the better car but if you state that you are a horrible racer I think the Turismo handles somewhat better than the T20. Start a solo race and try out different cars to see which one suits your driving.

Good cornering with less speedloss is better than the highest topspeed. Not that I am a great racer, but clean laps can be rewarding aswell :-)
