Kool_Kidz_Klub 5
Which of these three off road cars would be best for me to use in some of our crew off road races? DeaD_GooN 1,312
The Guardian is industrial class and cannot be used for off-road races, unless something has changed that I haven't been made aware of. The Insurgent is faster than the Sandking and seems to handle nearly the same to me. 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6407-insurgent-v-guardian-v-sandking/#findComment-103676 Share on other sites
Kool_Kidz_Klub 5
Oh okay I didn't know that guardian could not be used. Okay so out of your opinion out of all off road vehicles what do you believe is the best for racing? (Off road that is) Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6407-insurgent-v-guardian-v-sandking/#findComment-103677 Share on other sites
ScottyB 2,086
Wrong place for this question so it will be moved by a moderator soon. This topic has also pretty much been covered here http://www.domesticbatterygta.com/topic/6033-insurgent-vs-sandking/ It really depends what you're asking though. Strictly for racing, the Sanchez is the one and only thing to go to. Excluding that, the Bifta and possibly the brawler now? Are very competitive. The insurgent and sand king are for more proper off road races especially if there is water. A good example would be a track called Swamp Rats by Revbouncer. The insurgent is probably better than the sand king though but have a read through the other thread. DeaD_GooN 1,312
It really depends on the race. For the extreme Rick climbing stuff, I'd go with Sandking or Insurgent. For pretty much everything else, I'm liking the Brawler. There are some that use the Sanchez, but no one likes those people. Lol. But seriously, the Sanchez is good, but if you know how to drive it, the Brawler kicks it's ass. 3 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6407-insurgent-v-guardian-v-sandking/#findComment-103682 Share on other sites

I'm surprised the brawler can stick with it though, especially when it's doing a wheelie. I'll have to try it but I don't think that its quicker, especially not against someone who can race (which is in every race I play now) Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6407-insurgent-v-guardian-v-sandking/#findComment-103683 Share on other sites

If you can manage the turns, it does quite well. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6407-insurgent-v-guardian-v-sandking/#findComment-103687 Share on other sites
nicolabellamy77 441
the brawler isnt so good at offroading lol its fast but not so good with climbing, i like the bifta, its cute its quick and its good everwhere, i also own a sanchez for certain races that need it but i dont like to use it because it feels a little bit like cheating lol 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/6407-insurgent-v-guardian-v-sandking/#findComment-103689 Share on other sites

DavidCore89 7,404
Guardian can actually be used in off-road races now. Insurgent has been changed to 4WD instead of RWD, but it has a high centre of gravity which isn't good for off-roading. However for rock crawling, going through rivers and up steep rock faces - The Sandking (without fuel tanks, bullbars and with stock suspension) is the best extreme off-roader in GTAO, it can honestly go places that'll leave you quite surprised. I keep 3 vehicles in this class - Sanchez and Brawler for sprint or flat off-road races (depending on the course), Sandking SWB for anything extreme.
