Freemode events will pay 2x cash (not sure about RP).

Freemode events include:

-armoured trucks

-Simeon's high priority vehicles

-Smuggler planes (highest payout of 60k I received)

-Smuggler vehicles

-Distract the cops

Tips if you want to grind it out:

-hop into an invite session to avoid griefers

-grab a buzzard, savage, hydra or a military jet and camp until a Freemode event generates

-try to avoid camping it out because it's a waste of time and you're better of grinding missions solo; attempt one when it's available right off the back

If you happen to come across a Freemode event on PS3, try to attempt it. You might be walking away with maximum 60k in your pockets- WOW!

They didn't mention it for PS3/Xbox but when I actually did one, I noticed I got a higher payout then usual.

First Freemode event I did was an armoured truck event and I received 18k. Usually the cap is around10-12k and if that wasn't enough, I took down 2 smuggler planes and received 60k each.

Yeah I kinda noticed this earlier today. Shot down a smuggler plane n got 48k. Even managed one while dealing sweet justice to some persistent griefers using god mode.
