MrBump360 482
Made a traffic on race across town. Large grid 30 max players any Vehicle Type. Description: Ever plan a street race and forget to divert traffic? Probably worse if your planner comes from a country where they drive on the other side of the road... Link: http://rsg.ms/26c9d34 Ment to be raced daytime with traffic and contact on. Can also be raced with traffic off for "cleaner" fun. If you really want to know what you're made of you can always go for the xDBx gold standard... Contact, Traffic, Night, Rain. (oh btw, if the freeway blows too much you can stick to the sidelines for a somewhat quieter ride ;-) I think this is pretty much finished. I recon it might be a screwball race or even a standard crew playlist race. I would not race it with randoms and contact. Let me know what you think please. Jaggy 2,811
Good race. Didn't notice any issues with your checkpoints. This track was very fast paced and traffic made it more interesting. 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/7061-cross-town-traffic/#findComment-115529 Share on other sites
MrBump360 482
Thanks Jaggy, I thought it went quite well as well. Would be interesting to see what happens if there are more people and more laps, because of the loop back you would also start getting head on player traffic in your face, just to spice it up a bit :-P Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/7061-cross-town-traffic/#findComment-115586 Share on other sites
Lann 10,846
Fun race. On my first lap I was looking for where to go at (before) cp5. Can it be moved up some? No big deal. DavidCore89 7,404
Are the tyre barriers supposed to be floating or was my game bugged? Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/7061-cross-town-traffic/#findComment-116954 Share on other sites
MrBump360 482
no, no bug, they are supposed to float :-) Its the ones with the arrows on them to indicate where you have to go. I didn't want to block any roads off as that would mess with the trafic that is supposed to be on for this track. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/7061-cross-town-traffic/#findComment-116984 Share on other sites
Skorpion 2,527
I really enjoyed this. This ran really well with both traffic and contact in a small group. The props are a little distracting at first, but after the first few corners I started to ignore them more. They still served as a distant warning to be aware of the next corner though which was good with all the traffic. There were a few CPs that could be moved slightly, but overall I had no issues following this track through the traffic, keeping good speed, and it was quite enjoyable. Good job 1 Quote THE SKORPION PITMy Created Content Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/7061-cross-town-traffic/#findComment-117043 Share on other sites
MrBump360 482
Thanks Skorpion. Yeah I removed CP 33 and moved CP 24 further down the track to make the freeway exit more obvious like we talked about. I thought the floating stuff would help ppl. I kinda loaded the first big turn at CP5 with junk now so that no one can really miss this anymore, unless you try really really hard ;-P It's overloaded now, but I think it's fun. Reality? naa not really, its a fun race. 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/7061-cross-town-traffic/#findComment-117084 Share on other sites
