These projections are unreliable and even if there was some truth to it 750k units on roughly two months I think of launch is not bad is it?

I've a few questions for our seasoned VR players like @LimeGreenLegend and @grjkieSo since Skyrim is coming to VR which I'd love to experience, I'm considering getting me one. My questions are: what are you guys running it on; PS4 or Pro? And do you know if there's any noticeable difference between the two? Also, does the headset come with sound or will I need another one for that? Am currently using the PS4 bluetooth one since my main one broke. Not exactly ideal for a VR experience. Last question, do I need to buy those adult toy looking thingies or is a controller enough?

@Banketelli

I run it on regular PS4 and think it looks great.  No idea about how much better the Pro makes it, @grjkie would know about that.  The headset comes with a pair of earphones but you can use any headset with a regular connection jack thing.  I still use the ones that came with it, sounds good to me.  Most games you can play with a controller but I suggest getting the sex toys, they make the games so much more immersive.

Hey sorry for the late reply :D

When I first switched the pro with the headset I noticed the difference right away, without reading any of the differences between them I could clearly see a blurryness on the regular ps, nothing unplayable but like It felt faraway objects were more blurred and tiny detailed objects as well.

It becomes much more clearer. There you go, the difference I can clearly remember are far away objects and tiny detailed objects(like buttons on a panel etc)

Yes he does. Lime is one of my trusted VR sources! He did say to me, "this stuff will put a dent in your wallet." He right. I told myself I wasnt going to buy Resident Evil 7 until I finished Arizona Sunshine but it got a bigger discount the other day and i had to buy it. But i wont play it until im done with AS.

Those are just my absolute favourites, games anyone with PSVR should get.  I have another folder with 30 other games.  Most of them ranging from ok to really good, a few of them great.  Also not counting the three or four games I’ve deleted because they were actually crap :D

Also not counting stuff like VR films like Allumette and Invasion (both free) YouTube VR, loads of other VR video apps, VR porn, VR tours of places like Everest and under the oceans, the ability to watch 3D Blu Rays using it etc etc

If anyone trys to tell you that PSVR has no games and isn’t being supported by Sony and third party developers feel free to laugh in their face on my behalf :)

Nice, i just downloaded the batman one last night since it was on sale for 11$ . Ive only messed around with it some. So far my Fav has been The Heist on the VR Worlds game. That was pretty tight and did not make me sick.

I had actually downloaded the mech battle game a while back when it was free on psn one month just in case. But ive tried that game twice now and it makes me sick within minutes of playing it . There is another game  ( demo) i cant recall but i think it was on that PSVR Worlds disc , that has you in a mech "suit" that also made me pretty sick in a short period of time. So i think any games like that is a no go for me.

I ran the drive club demo and it was pretty fun , the star wars one was cool and didnt make me sick.

Growing up i suffered alot from motion sickness so i was affraid i may have this issue, but so far just seems a couple out of all ive played made me sick. I thought about Resident Evil since i had heard it was one of the better ones. I also thought about Skyrym but had heard bad reviews on it  , so was not sure there.Looking forward to more games on it , it is awesome.Although i would not mind if it had better graphics. I noticed you gotta get it set just right ( in line with eyes i guess) or it looks off. And i have a ps4 pro . Not sure what more one can do there for graphics.

@poohty_tIf you want to test if you have motion sickness try the demo for Polybius :D

As for Skyrim, I think it’s awesome, it’s just amazing actually being in that world, and playing it with the move controllers, shooting magic out of your hands makes it even more awesome.

There is a setting somewhere where you can set your IPD (inter-pupillary distance) it doesn’t make you do it in the initial setup but it’s well worth doing.  As for graphics, if you have a Pro that’s the best you’re gonna get for now, but graphics always get better the more time people get to work with it.  I can already see a difference between launch games and new games graphics wise, stuff looks clearer and sharper already.  It’s onley gonna get better :)

I haven't really got into my VR, Batman is about the extent of it. What or some of the top multiplayer games? I wouldn't mind getting something we could all agree on and set a night a week out to do some shit

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

You’d love Star Trek: Bridge crew. Up to four players, each takes a different role, engineer, tactical, helm and captain, and you all work together to kill Klingons and shit.

Theres also a free PSVR game for PS+ this month, and it’s multiplayer too, Starblood Arena.  I’ve not played it yet though, but I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun.

Actually just looked up a video on it, made me sick within 30 seconds.... that Starblood Arena is one of the two i mentioned above, just makes me sick to my stomach. So far any game with movements like that, somehow screw with me , quickly.

Im actually looking forward to Fallout 4 VR when it comes out, i am pretty sure i can handle that and i like the game, but never finished it. I really hope RD2 has VR support , but im not getting my hopes up at all .... sadly. That would be the Ultimate for me .Or GTA V in VR.

Here is my video of the Heist i was talking about, even though over half of it , is just a video , i really enjoyed the ability to hold controller( i dont have move controllers) sideways , and shoot things with what felt like a pretty accurate aim of where i was aiming. Then the next game you see me start, i dont last long and am sick and shut it down, haha.

So right now im banning any games that involves me getting in a mechic suit ..... as both have made me sick.

That’s on my agenda tonight....Look for multiplayer VR games. I have Arizona Sunshine and that has a Co-op, will check some gameplay of that mode later. If I was a Trekkie, Star Trek Bridge would be a must have. Especially once your Trekkie friends get VR. I would immerse myself into ST Bridge but since it is necessary to be in chat for that one, my availability would be likely be once a week, Sunday mornings most likely.

I’m sure you’ll get your VR legs eventually, just need to ease yourself in and build up to movement like that gradually.  Have you also tried ginger, that helps apparently, I’ve heard a couple ginger beers helps.  Also getting stoned helps with motion sickness :D

And if you have to pee in a cup for work, try motion sickness patches like the ones they hand out on cruises.

You should check out Sparc, it’s like Tron tennis, multiplayer 1v1 game, but I believe other people can spectate like they’re in the arena and then jump into the next game.

I would give ST Bridge Crew a go, Sundays would be a good morning/day for me to do that, probably be a week or so before i can go get it.

If I’m not at work I’ll be there.  Can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon :)
