What was your first alcoholic beverage?

Recommended Posts

Mine - Pabst Blue Ribbon or Old Milwaukee, I'm not sure which but it was one or the other cuz that is all dad drank. I know I was 3 yrs old, asked dad for a sip and remember taking a sip everytime his back was turned. I vaguely remember mom being pissed the next day cuz I was hung over and remember her yelling at dad for getting me drunk.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Oh my.

My dad always gave me tiny sips of his beer when I was little.  Probably 6 years old.  It would have been MGD, because that's all he ever drank.

As for my first actual alcoholic drink that my parent's weren't around to give me...??

Peach Schnapps.

It was my friend's 13th birthday party.  It was just our small circle of friends (3-4) of us at her parent's house.  Her parent's gave us a few shots each and told us not to tell our parent's.  We were a bit tipsy, but it wore off quickly.  Monster headache in the morning.

To this day, I can't stand any flavor of Schnapps.

First sip of alcohol was Budweiser. It was awful and i thought it tasted like crap and really didnt understand how people could drink it...20 years later im one of those people who drink pisswasser xD

My first drink i had that wasnt given to me by my parents...was tequila. It was my 16th birthday and my cousin got me a bottle of tequila because i had jokingly mentioned i wanted some. He was actually younger than me but had swiped it from his parents liquor cabinet. I had it with some friends and got completely wrecked. Ended up going home ridiculously drunk and got in trouble. Ever since then i cannot drink tequila, even the smell of it makes me nauseous.

One day the sadness will end.

Southern Comfort. That was a horrible night. That was the first time I ever snuck anything and wasn't given to me. Never been so sick in my life. I've had it a few times since then, but all I can think of is that it tastes the same coming up as it does going down. Orange flavored vomit. I think I was 15 at the time.

Screw driver.

I've still never been drunk to this day and I've had my fair share of different drinks. I'll never drink anything straight though (mixed), I dislike all beer (micro, domestic, foreign, I don't care) and wine isn't something that interests me (sweet, dry, fruity, don't care, don't like it).

Probably 6 or 7 and it was Olyimpia beer because that what my Dad drank. It was a semi regular thing on weekends where he'd leave a sip at the bottom of the mug or can. He had this set of glass Budwiser mugs that he kept in the freezer and I have one still that I'll have a Bud/Miller/whatever Pilsner from occasionally.

Don't remember first drink probably my dad's yuengling I do remember my first time in a bar we where on a cruise I was 18 went to a senor frogs in Bahamas was drinking the yards which are large ass glasses full of long Island ice teas and beer

Vine.

It's a rare occasion my parents drink alcoholic beverage such as vine-and those days are holidays. I remember my mom pressuring me to try a sip and I kept denying until I finally gave in. Took my first sip and it didn't really affect my mood, only a bitter tingle to both sides of my tongue, end of story.

A quadratic function can be written in vertex form:

f(x) = a( x-h )^2 + k          *^2 means squared*

The vertex form is helpful because it tells you the location of the vertex (h,k); (x,y)

Oh yeah, we have those yards in Las Vegas.  I know exactly what you're talking about.

I'm fairly sure it was Lone Stare beer, but it may have been Jax. I do remember the first beer I ordered. I was at a drive-in hamburger stand with car hops. I was in the back seat and I ordered exactly what my Pop ordered.....No. 5 hamburger with tater tots and a "cold Lone Stare beer". The girl looked at my Pop and he told her to bring the boy what he ordered. I was 5 or 6. : DIZZY :

I was 18 months old, escaped from my room as usual and managed to find a bottle of either Martini or Bacardi, didn't have much but had enough to send me rolling around the garden.

I think mine was some sort of whiskey and I was probably about 6 or 7. My parents never have drunk much and must have only had this bottle for guests. I kept asking what it was and my dad wanted to let me have some but my mum wouldn't let me. Then my dad persuaded her if they let me try it I would hate it and it would put me off it. So she gave in, and my dad was right. I remember it being absolutely horrible. Now though I love the stuff, providing it's the right single malt.

My first drink was a Redd's Apple Ale, I did have a taste of one when I was around 4 or 5 but I don't remember what it was nor was it my first whole beer, I think it might have been a Budweiser.

I don't remember the age, but I'm sure it was Communion wine when my parents dragged me to church when I was a kid.  I believe I had a few sips of wine when I was younger than ten, but the memory that sticks out most is when I was sick with a cold and my uncle gave me a shot of whiskey mixed with honey and god only knows what else.  I believe it helped the cold, but it tasted awful.  When I was a young teenager (13, 14ish), my best friend and I used to drink a bit of his parent's Vodka every now and then and replace the missing contents with water.  Later I found out that his parents learned of our actions when they put the bottle in the freezer.  Ooops.

I drank quite a bit between the ages of 19 and about 21, but I rarely, rarely drink at all now.  The most I'm good for is one single glass of craft beer or the occasional glass of wine.  I don't enjoy being drunk, and I could easily live the rest of my life without touching alcohol ever again.  I actually hate the taste of alcohol (hard liquor), so I guess that could be a good thing.

Took a sip of some sort of Beer when I was a teen. Hated it. That dislike has stuck with me because Beer is the most vile thing on this planet. Like G, I don't care what kind it is, it sucks.

That said, I first got drunk on Vodka. After messing with Rum for a bit I discovered Bourbon and for the most part have never drank anything else. I was partial to 101 proof Wild Turkey and Jim Beam.

That was years ago though. I rarely drink these days. The older I get, the less fun the next day is.
