I had the chance to play this with Rev, True, and Erin for quite a bit last night.  I think Rev, Erin, and I ended up doing at least five or six different poker tournaments.  It's quite fun, but I think poker is the most interactive out of what they offer--it's a shame that all the buy ins are the same, there are no cash games--it's all tournament style, and that from what I can tell, you can't really see how others are playing in games like craps.  There is also a six player limit per table in poker, but I think we could easily set something up for just XDBX members one day.

I need to make more money though--the buy in for a poker tournament is $5,000 and if there isn't a full table and you do not place in second or first, you end up losing money.

Think poker will be the more social aspect of the game but can discuss all parts of the game here

Lol. Not sure how more social poker is than any other game when there isn't any voice chat to begin with, but OK.

Have you played the game?

Put me down for poker too Rev.

The nightclub is pretty interactive for a bit of socializing and dancing... People also bring their donkeys for a bit of fun lol... a real Ibiza feel to it :D

It really is a crap casino. Aside from getting ripped off by them already, there's very little variety in what type of poker you can play. 5000 limit when people only get a bout 10 to start with. If you don't fill the table, placing doesn't profit only winning, then with less players you don't win much, yet you're still investing 5k. It's full of bugs. LN disconnevted mid game yesterday and I did just now. Can't even get back into the casino to ask for my buy in back.

If we're serious about playing poker together we should all join somewhere like pokerstars where we can set up our own private games, whether for free or cash. We will all need a pokerstars account. I have one I think I'm aussiekev260 (if that's wrong I'll get back to you).

Not a fan at all of this casino and when I blow my free chips I will be done with it.

I will clear the names in the OP and ask WHO IS INTERESTED IN PLAYING TOGETHER OM POKERSTARS. FOR FREE OR CASH GAMES?

This isn't a dedicated poker game, but this is http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/08/18/pure-holdem-out-today-on-ps4/

Is it free to download or do you have to buy it?

I still the a site like pokerstars would be best option if we're going to play poker

That one isn't free, maybe £15.99, but that's where PS4 players arrange poker tournaments.

I know a few gaming communities like ours that have poker nights on that game.

Most free-to-play games are shit if you're used to playing AAA titles, the budget is usually low and they make revenue through in-game purchases.

Americans still cannot play on PokerStars unless something has changed recently.  I played there regularly years ago until it was shutdown and we were restricted from playing.  I think you can play the free money games, but those are terrible because you can instantly reload without much effort.

I think the game DC mentioned is our best option; it has some mixed reviews from what I have read, but it seems much better in comparison.  Plus, there's a lot more effort into having to re-buy if you go broke, so that will add a better element of game play.

Full Tilt was fully revamped a cpl yrs ago

What credible poker site can you guys play on?

I checked and we're still restricted.  I've heard they may explore opening it back up to us later this year though.  We can only hope. :)

Honestly, there aren't any that I'm aware of.  I had an account on Sportsbook.ag, I believe it was called, and they are a complete rip-off.  When I cashed out, their check didn't clear the bank, so I'm very hesitant about most sites now.

How about 888 poker? They're pretty reputable as far as I know.

I checked there as well, and it's only available if you live in New Jersey.

I'll probably stick to a PS4 game if I'm going to play.  As much as I'd like to play again for real money, I think it will have to be when PokerStars gets their issues straightened out and we're allowed to play there again.

Just because they're real pokersites doesn't mean you have to pay to play. You can organize private tournies amongst your friends and set the buy in yourself I believe. Also the sites usually offer daily freerolls some offer multiple daily freerolls.

All good though, I just can't see me ever paying for a poker game on PS4 when there a re proper poker sites I'm already a member of.

Also as I said before, wjen my chips run out at 4 Kings, I'm done, it's crap!.

As far as VIP status goes, good luck earning it!

$ Kings doesn't honour their payouts either.

Still waiting on feedback from others too, don't be shy lets organize something properly I reckon :)

I used to play on pkr.com its a lot better in terms of graphics and interactivity compared to most online poker. It's free to play with the option for real money tables. Full range of poker games plus some other casino games. The US not allowing you to play is common on all poker sites but I'm sure there's ways around it

Credit where it's due : I emailed digital leisure and told them what happened and they gave 160k!!! :D LOL

If you have troubles with them don't msg them in game email them techsupport@digitalleisure.com Worked for me hehehe

Earned VIP 1 status today. Had a look up there. There are 3 25k tables. A few of the pokies and keno machines. , Blackjack, War, Baccarat which like craps I have no clue how to play!

I'm ranked 600 and sumfin in poker. I haven't played the 25k tables yet, they were full and moving slow when I was there.

Is any keen to play atm?
