Your garage IRL

Recommended Posts

We have 2 2003 GMC Yukons, 2010 Chevy HHR, 1965 Triumph Spitfire

You forgot the 2003 Harley 1200 Sporster 100th anniversary in the garage.

Agreed pb.

You'd need a mortgage or lotto win to drive a Dodge or a Pontiac over here :D

Her the gas price is 3.71 per gallon right now What is yours costing?

Ok now we see what you did or do drive now. But what would be your dream car or truck to own if you could have anything. Not so important the make or model as long as it is a BIG diesel 4x4 for me. In the game if you see my big sandking xl, that would be my style. So what would you like to see parked in your driveway?

Petrol is about £1.30 a litre here, which works out as $8.25 a gallon!

All time favourite car is corvette c3, but I'll happily take any classic muscle, anything 50's, any pick-up etc

i Drive Dodge Caliber 2009, i have a Opel Omega (vauxhall omega in some countrys) 2.5 V6 DOHC 24V project, i call "her" Emma ^^ (not anymore)

I feel sorry for europeans who are into cars. Only rich people are allowed to have the good ones or the fun ones.

I'll be converting this beast from the east over to E85/flexfuel once I start working again and then we shall see how much power we can get out of it....got it tuned in Holland a few years back to the "tune" of ~440hp. It was like being in heaven driving it in Germany.

Pic is garage from our house in Germany last year, which we sorely miss. It just sits in my garage here in Miami, driven it once in the past 12 months...haven't even bothered registering it, still got the German temp plates on it from its boat ride back.

I have a '96 Toyota Tacoma as my beater for back and forth to the university, and we bought a 2010 Honda Insight for for everything else which my wife primarily drives.....round trip to Key West on HALF A TANK, 55mpg! $30 to fill up!! WIN

Which side is the steering wheel on? The backward Euro side or the correct American side? :P:D

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Its an American market car, bought it here, shipped it to Germany years later, brought it back....only Brits drive on the wrong side of the road in Europe..everyone else prefers to make car production much cheaper for their domestic manufacturers to compete in the North American market. Those little kmph markings on the speedo came in handy though....outside of Germany LOL!

Fucking dutch have photo cameras around Amsterdam that snap pics of your plate from two separate stations and then use the time differential to calculate your speed and send you a ticket...dicks.

Got one ticket in Germany, driving 65 in a 50 (kmph)...cost me 26 euros (approx $35-40 at the time) and I paid it on the spot with my debit card lol......EVERYTHING about driving is better in Germany than the USA...except paying $8-9 per gallon for gas. That sucks.

Wow. That's SWEET for a 96', looks much newer! I've been looking for something in the 00-05 range (no particular reason).

Thanks, I love my car.

Well in that model year, I would look for an 00-01 7 Series. Nice cars, without all the modern elcectrical problems. But its hard to find a good 1-2 owner that hasn't been mutilated by someone who can't afford it. 3 Series were nice cars, but the E46 has electrical issues the older they get. Most problems can be solved at a reasonalbe cost, but some are expensive. Any 5 Series through 03. That was still the E39, and was a good car. 540's were a Very cool car. M5 type performance and sound, without the price tag. 04's were the first year for the E60's. They have Battery and electrical issues that get crazy expensive. Stay away from E60 545's. Or anything else that uses 4.8L V8. Nothing but problems. If you are looking for a cool, fun weekend car, M Roadster or Coupe from 00-02. The 2000 ran a 240 hp S52 from the E36 M3, but the 01 and 02 used the S54 from the E46 M3. That ran about 330 hp in that little Roadster or Coupe.
