That exhaust is looking a little rusty It's annoyingly close isn't it. I think BRU was designated to vehicles in the Southampton area - where the van was registered whine arrived at the docks. I've seen a couple of other imported campers with it too. Exhaust is only a cheap one. It'll have a stainless steel one for the new engine 15 minutes ago, zmurko said: Are there body parts in that black bag? A nearby shovel suggests that you still need to bury them somewhere. BryannosaurusRex 1,173
It’s been a while. In summer 2019 I ripped out the 1970s interior and had a new bespoke one built with a fridge, sink and gas hobs plus a wider bed. 4 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/9495-1972-vw-microbus-deluxe/page/2/#findComment-229668 Share on other sites
BryannosaurusRex 1,173
I was digging through some paperwork this weekend and came across some bits of forgotten about. When the camper was imported from California the new owner here in the UK cleaned it out and kept a few things. a job seekers booklet for someone called Lee R Whitener from 1977 A bank slip for Golden Oak Bank in Oakhurst CA With this written on the back “boys ❤️Girls club, in a van dude” A WW2 postcard posted from La Junta Colorado in 1943. Unfortunately the writing has faded/washed off. Some random keys, a blank casing, a dime and a 5 cent coin and the original owners manual 5 Quote Link to comment https://www.rockstarsocialclub.net/forums/topic/9495-1972-vw-microbus-deluxe/page/2/#findComment-229669 Share on other sites
